How to get rid of poverty?

There are different classes of people, very rich, rich, middle class-many levels in this and lower classes in earning and holdings of wealth. I keep thinking many times, rich person gets richer, poor people either remain same or become more poor. How to get rid of poverty to supply the basic necessities of human being? Please let me what you feel about it and how would like to contribute towrds this?

There is a real simple answer....Make everything free. Just think by doing that one thing it would not only cure proverty it would cure a lot of other problems that we face.
