Beware of A Mylot Member whose Aim is to Put People Down!

i think those people are bullies and have too much free time to spend... that's why they go around bullying people... i really can't stand those type of people and fortunately, i never have to encounter them so far... and i hope i never will... take care and have a nice day...

Totally agree 100%. Anyone that comes here to show hatred and cut someone down is missing out on a lot in life, and needs to rethink who they are, and what they want to be. I know we have a diverse group of people who come here in myLot. Many people are even from other countries, cultures, etc. And not everyone here will always agree on something as well. But when you choose to be negative all of the time, and cut someone else down, you are only cutting yourself short, and making enemies of people in the process. I know I am here to make friends, and learn new things, and everyone else on here should always think the same way too. Just some of my thoughts.

Unfortunately trolls are everywhere, including here unfortunately. Best to just ignore them and then they disappear.

Interesting, but maybe that these are all typed discussions that reading them can be taken out of context and maybe taken more personal. I'm not sure who you are talking about or what experience you've had on my lot, but think about someone that you have talked to before and they are always hateful, then they send you an email or a text message and right off the bat you think they are yelling. Maybe this person said something you could have taken the wrong way so everytime you see them writting something you might think of them being hateful. I wonder why they would do such a thing... what would they get in putting mylot members down... it is not like we see each other face to face here... so what motivates them to do this... Mylot is a good site... and i hope some people or trolls would stop making other members feel bad...

Hope you don't mean me lol I'm sure there are many those "somebodies",internet is a great place for anonymous hatred and bitterness. But it is wrong and people should try and be more loyal and understanding

yeah i also came to know about such supid persons on mylot...i don't know what is the profile of such persons as they don't have any specific reason for coming to mylot. they only want to hurt other people...isn't it so :)

Problem with a lot of the posts they don't say what they mean and then when you respond they get all bent out of shape and tell you you are mean. They write a few lines, and you read and get the wrong opinion and then they come back to you with you're mean or rude as one did yesterday, they made a statement that didn't make sense at all as to why they done it, then when I replied they sent me a email stating I was rude and mean. I only replied to what I read, and I answered back that if they had written what they meant maybe they would not get the answers they got, well that set them off. When I post I try to spell out the problem so others know what I'm talking about, if more would take the time to do that, instead of trying to make as many posts as they can, maybe it would be a bit more clear what they are talking about.

I think you are right and i think the same that there will be few ppeople who do the same

It once happened to me. I got a negative rating just for giving my own opinion. if only it is proper to name names here, i could have done that. It was my purest intention to sympathize her but instead I got a bitter reply.

Hello danzer, I agree with your discussion here. There are some members aiming to put people down and I just see it happening all the time but I just shrug it off. If I'm personally attacked, I don't tend to reply and just ignore it. Because to entertain something like this would lead to forever, so I just have this "can't be bothered" attitude towards members like the ones you mentioned. I think that mylot is a happy place and should remain that way forever. Have a nice day and take care.

That really is uncool. I don't understand what joy people get from being cruel to others. What is the point? Why bother? Try not to take it too personally. If you show weakness by getting upset with them, they will target you harder and become relentless.

I just don't care what other people think about me. If they don't like it and wanted to put me down by responding negatively or cruel in my topics, so be it. I understand from the start that i can't be friends with everybody here. Its great if I can have tons of good friends here but I am sastified if in the end I only had one best friend.

Yeah. this is an open forum website where people say what's on their mind. No need to get personal or angry, all people are entitled to their opinion. If you don't to hear other people's point of view then don't join. As far as I know this is still a free or I'll say democratic dominated world.

Awww sweety im soo sorry that your goin threw what i went threw last year..i had a friend thati got in an argument with anbd she and her mom and friends attacked me here..my star went from a 10-4 in a day..and they were mean and rude to many many threads i had up i was so mad i repoirted and nothing came about till about the third time when i had enough and retaliated..and did it back and..I GET IN TROUBLE??? WHATEVER!! lol..but they looked into it and fixed it a bit but my star never came back up and that makes me sad i work so hard here..and the ones that disa gree and get alll crazy mean..need to check themselves..take a breath man its just a debate here..or just something needing opinions..and if they cant do it then they need to get off Mylot..and find a violant..rude site they would be more comfy with..but hey thats just me lol..just blow them off as much as u can..and take care! Unfortunately there are many people who derive a warped kind of pleasure in putting people down. The best thing is to try and ignore them, they soon go away again.

there are a lot of members here who really love putting people down by commenting in harsh and offensive way, they act like they know everything and think of the others as stupid, i guess we all have encountered offensive and insulting comments by other members. i too have encountered that so to avoid being deleted i will just ignore the comment and avoid the fight. we earn from their comments anyway.

i totally agree with you. Freedom of speech is soooooo misunderstood nowadays. It's because most of the times, the truth is not easy to accept and deal with. And because seeking the truth can be exhausting (or people are too lazy to do that). But i think the best we can do is try to be ourselves more tolerant to each other's versions. People will always have different and most of the time contradictory opinions, but we need to remember that all opinions come from different points of view.

I have not come across anyone that has been really mean to me, not yet at least anyway, but no doubt it will happen one day. I would not take much notice though anyway, there is no point getting cross about it or rising to bad words as they only win and do it all the more. I have come across people being horrible to others though and I think that upsets me more than anything, seeing other people having mean responses left on their discussions.

Mylot is a place to make friends and I think it's not nice to develop grudges around people. I hope that people will be more friendly and that they will help others instead of putting them down.
