Is your home decorated with religious items?...

In my country... a home is never complete without a painting or wood carving of "The Last Supper Of Christ" hanging on the wall of the dining area... and some homes become somewhat like a museum of images and statues of the different Saints, the Holy Family, and the Santo Nino...
My apartment has a small rosary hanging by the window... and an image of the Holy Family by the kitchen...
The office where i work has a crucifix in every corner... as a sign of my employer's devotion to the Catholic religion...
What religious items do you have in your home for everyone to see...

The only thing I Have in my house that could be considered religious is a celtic love spoon that has a heart and a celtic cross. It is hanging in my bedroom near my bed. I'm not really religious, but I am spiritual. Art hangs in the rest of my house.

Not really, we don't have many religious items at home but we have crucifix of jesus, 1 image of mama mary and a big GREEN HOLY CROSS in our living room. That is all about it.

hi aseret!
i am a Christian, too, but we don't believe in putting religious items in our home. when we pray, we pray directly. we don't kneel behind images. so when you go to our home, you can't really say, that oh, this family is religious.
good day!

We also do not kneel infornt of the images... but i know of some old people who kiss and pray infornt... this is an old tradition... and i don't see this sort of thing among the young Catholics... but the religious items are very nice to look at when one is home... thanks for the response...

Well, we sometimes think that a simple portrait does not represent something religious... until we do a little research... my apartment is quite plain... exept for the rosary and image of the Holy Family... and i think i will keep it that way... thanks for the response...

We have nothing religious in any part of our house, basically because no one in my house is religious, therefore it would be hypocritical to have anything religious.

I don't think that is hypocritical in any way... since my parents are also not religious... so we their children are also not... but our home had that beautiful Last Supper steel carving... and i also made a cross stick of a Bible verse... religious items are also a form of art that can beautify the home... thanks for the response...
