All animals eyes have a great glow to them when a light is shined into them. Busters eyes glow an awesome green usually. Well sitting outside tonight by the bonfire I was taking photos like always. I snapped a few of Buster without using the flash as the glow from the bonfire was bright enough I felt. Well this shot is wierd and awesome at the same time. A white alien like glow to his eyes as opposed to his usual green glow. He looks like an alien maybe? What color are your pets eyes when lit up with a light at? HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Dirty and Muddy Zoe with glowing eyes.. - Zoe, my dog after getting really muddy and she has the glowing eyes, scary..lol
I have some pictures of my dog with the "glowing" eyes..It drives my crazy, because I can get rid of the "red eye" on my computer, but not the white eyes... Here is one of her, but she is also muddy, so she really looks scary..

Hmmm, that does look weird. Minnie's cats have that weird "alien glow" to them too. Are you raising a breed of space alien pets up there?

Ronnie - red-eyed - This is our semi-feral, Ronnie
Most of the cat's eyes glow yellow, but the blue eyed ones are red. Pretty cool that you got white outta Buster's eyes.

My dog is so bad that if she gets a chance, she'll run away from me, so I got one of those super powered flashlights to chase her down at night. She really hates that, and when I find her her eyes look like golden globes. She always tries to get away from the light beam, and eventually, she'll get tired of me chasing her, and she'll let me catch her.

Yeah, that's her favorite game, getting me to chase her. If I ignore her, she'll come and jump on me and then run away, kind of like playing tag.

Our dog - He is our amazing pitbull, shy but not infront of the camera.
Hi GRANDPA BOB! Our dog has a bluish green glow in his eyes, I guess, it's the flash or whatever. I got curious about this so, I did a little research but never had an answer for Buster's eyes turning white. haha.. And i guess, this may do because taking pictures of them is similar to having the lights shine unto their eyes, I guess. haha.. Question: Sometimes peoples eyes in photos look red, but dogs' eyes sometimes look blue. Why is that?Answer: People's eyes look red because the light passes through the pupil and bounces off the retina, which is covered in blood vessels and is, therefore, red. The eyes of dogs and cats have a relective layer, called the tapetum, which is blue. When the light reflects off that, their eyes look blue. source website: http://www.cbc.ca/informationmorningns/science-archives/2007_science.html Take care and have a nice day!

Yes, he's definitely looking like an alien dog there! Or maybe he was just taken over by aliens for a moment, white eyes tho, must be alien spirit entities.. hopefully the good buster has been restored and all is well..

my beautiful seti my himalayan cat had eyes that glowed red, but they were a beautiful baby blue naturally. Seti got stolen three years ago, I still means him so much.

I had to see this photo of Buster & write a brief comment. I love the outdoor bonfires too. Our bonfire season has started & we have a lot of wood this time. Our dogs race around the fire. We always have to watch Max as his tail flicks in the fire.

Depends on what type of light it is. From a flash, Dom's eyes are green. From a flashlight, they are white. From the fire, they are a eerie yellow.

What a cool photo of our gorgeous buster AGB! My cat Tia has eyes that change depending on the light that shines in them - sometimes they are yellow....

Mmm..did you know there was a Disney movie called Cat From Out of Space, so you think Buster wants equal time for canines and is practicing for his audition for Dog From Out Of Space. My cats will have a weird glow in their eyes as well if I use "unnatural" type of light source and I photograph them, but I usually always try to photograph them with natural lighting--my one kitty Kissy is a real scaredy cat as soon as she sees my camera in my hand as it is..I would probably freak her out completely if I used a flash--mmm how come one can get rid of "red eye" in photos but not "green or yellow glow" from a pet's eyes

The reason for the quatation marks is this was also a title of a movie from the late 50's maybe early 60's as well i think. But it is an awesome white glow in his eyes. he doesn't want any time as far as popularity goes. He is like me, give him a treat and leave him be and he'll be happy for hopurs on end. I always wondered about a photo editing tool called "green eye removal". HAHAHA! That is strange huh? HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~
