Basically the greatest and easiest of all exercises is the humble walk.
At least half an hour of a relatively fast-paced walk each day will see results. If you live outside a city like I do, you should have plenty of scenic routes to walk, and make sure to include (if possible) some hills and dips and differing terrains, to keep your muscles working and doing their thing.
I like to walk for about an hour - walk for half an hour somewhere, and then walk back home - I normally take a different route there and back to keep it interesting.
It is important to keep hydrated and walk at a good pace just below being tired or puffed. You'll know that pace for yourself when you reach it =)

I have a bike that I got from walmart for under $100. It counts the cals you burn, speed ect, Its very easy on your body but at the same time it still gives you a good work out. I lost 14lbs since I got the bike, which was 1 month ago :-). You don't have to spend hours on it or buy a gym member ship. I also have a treadmill but those cost a lot to get a good one, It takes you a bit longer to burn cals on the treadmill and takes up a lot of move, I think the bike is the way to good! Hope that helps!
