George W Bush may be right by quoting the global price rice and food crises is linked with erratic cunsumption behaviour of middle class belonging to India & china, We should be proud to be associated with the rise of spending power of middle class who are equivalent to total population of Us, at least not over weight and burden on state exchequer. The huge shortage of power has been inhuman driving force of west to burn food grain. The equation for power vs hunger is again disturbed.
