Every girl develops at a different rate, so it could be possible that nothing is wrong and she just is taking a bit longer than the other girls to start. I would try not to worry too much until you've talked to a doctor about it and they can tell you for sure if something really is wrong. If you are nervous about it, then I would check with the doctor and see what they say. I know sometimes girls who are really athletic won't get their period until really late in their teens I've heard. Maybe that could be the reason.

some girls develope later than others.. and at 15 it really isnt much of a concern. some kids wet the bed, some dont.. some kids have teeth at 3 months and walk at 9months.. some dont cut their first till theyre over a year.. some girls have their periods at nine years old.. some dont start till theyre 17. if yer that concerned with it, take her to a doctor.

Could be a lot of things. She could have cysts, could just be her hormone levels. She needs to go to the gynecologist ASAP.

I agree with the others and would take her to the doctor. However, there are several factors that contribute to the menstrual cycle, weight is one of them. My daughter has always been very active and thin as a rail, she didn't have her first cycle until she was 15 almost 16, even after the first one they still never come as a regular cycle. Doctor said not to worry. That's my 2 cents.

Dont worry about it yet. Wait till she is at least 16. Then take her to a doctor. Maybe she is just a late starter. Sometimes i heard if a girl is very physically active it takes longer. Like if she is in sports or something. An aunt of mine didn't start till she was 17.

Neriz69, There could be a number of reasons why she hasn't a cycle yet. First thing first Doctor, Doctor, Doctor there is no other person on earth that can tell you why she hasn't had a cycle. Take her to the doctors office and get her a check up and express your concerns about this. For your own satisfaction and hers.

If its concerning you THAT much I would take her to the doctor and see what he/she has to say...I'm inclined to think that its just thta her body isnt ready since there really isnt any set age for a girl to start her cycle but if its really a worry for you take her to the doctor and make sure its nothing to worry aobut..

Yes I would have a word with the doctor to put your mind at rest I am sure my daughter was about 15 when she started, I know she was later than her friends and she was a bit worried.

Actually, every girl is unique. Each has a different time to have menstruation. My mom had her menstruation when she was seventeen years old. Woah! You don't have to worry about anything. You just have to wait for the proper time to come or if you want to... go to the doctor and ask for some advice. Goodluck!

its better to consult the doctor. This could have happened due to harmonal imbalance. 15yr is not too late as i heard people saying that their daughter got mensruation at 17, 18 years. I dont think you need to worry much but its always better to consult the doctor for any health related problems.
