how do you view financial security?

what does financial security means to you? is it not having to work all your life, is it living in luxury?
our views of financial security varies other people thought that being financially secured means they will no longer have to stress out their body on work and still not think of tomorrow.
my view of financial security is when at my retirement i can sit back and relax and enjoy my investment without worrying about my children's future since i already arrange them. it does not mean that i will never need to work, i will still have too but in a minimal pace to be able to enjoy life.

i agree with you.i think financial security is having your future arranged in the present so when the future comes there will peace in your mind and not worrying about money anymore.i think a good investment for that is house and lot where you can be when you retire from work and have all the time in the world to do what you wanted.

That's a wonderful topic. Even I do not know what it means to be like 'financially secure'.If we ask somebody what was the last time they had been comfortable with their finances, probably no body say they had ever been.Every human being on this planet whether rich or poor learnt to live his/her own way and face difficulties. There is no guarantee that somebody having a certain money are secure and others are not. Even the rich still feel insecure because they think some other target would give them secure. So where is the end ?
