Today I reached my 500th post--I suddenly saw mine showing 499.

I was aware that only after 500 I would be able to upload photographs and copy paste interesting titbits i want to share . This figure seemed elusive a few months back. But I have really not bothered and would just write responses and log on to Mylot .com wjhenever I felt like. I don't even register my number many times though I vaguely recall 300+ and 400+on some occasions. The thought used to occur to me that soon I will reach this 500.Today it has happened and I am very happy about it. How do you work at this/ Do you make a conscious effort to touch a particular number or do you just proceed without bothering?It HAS TAKEN MORE THAN A YEAR FOR ME TO REACH THIS.For those who have crossed this , how did you feel when you touchedthis figure? For those who are below this, do you look forward to this ?

Congratulations on reaching that 500 mark. That is currently been my goal for a while because I want to be able to upload pictures when I post my responses. My goal is to actually reach 500 by the end of this month. I truly believe I can do it. I figure if I can continue to type and type and not think too much about what number I am at I can make it there. And if I respond to those strange discussions that some people make just to keep my posts going up I'll do just fine.

Congrats on reaching 500.
That's an eventual goal, although right now my main focus is trying to reach payout. I've finally broken the $9.00 mark, and it feels like the hard work [that was usually in between classes or while I was procrastinating about homework] is going to be paying off.
Once I reach 500 posts, hopefully that goal will have passed, and I'll have a new one. It would probably be... Reaching payout again, haha.
I'm glad to hear that you're so determined, working on this for more than a year definitely shows that you're quite dedicated/devoted.
Best of luck with you in the future, maybe I'll see you around when you're hitting 600.
