Watching for sales

Do any of you shop Macy's, our Macy's has a 3rd floor that has mark downs, I love to go there and see what they have on their mark downs. I got a $400. comforter and sheet set for $40. and several sets of sheets for my king size bed that sold for $50. or more a set for $7.00 a set. Expensive pots and pans for like $7.00, a $139.00 quilt for $8.00. It is nice to get good made items for such a low price. If you have never shopped at Macy's you should try it and see what they have on mark down. That is the only way I can afford to shop at such a store, it is too expensive with out the sales. Do any of you search the markdowns at Macy's?

we don't have a macy's here in montreal, but whereever I shop, I always look for sales, it is the only way to be able to survive these days with everything so expensive.

I do shop there some times for my sons, I love hitting their back to school sales. I can always find some really great deals then.

My daughter also hits the sales for school there she is the one took me to Macy's after we got to Ohio, she said let's go to Macy's and I laughed, as if I could afford to shop there, she didn't even have a job and they gave her a credit card, she uses it at school time. I was so surprised I got pots, 2 sets and sheets and all kinds of stuff we had 4 big sacks full and it was like $160. all markdowns so they could put out their new stock, hey last years is good enough forme.

I have always avoided Macys as the are to expensive for me but I will have to check if they have a clearance floor around here thanks for the tip.

I do have a Macy's and yes my sister and i went shopping not long ago...I was not aware that the third floor was markdowns.Is it like that all of the time or at just certain times?I like Macy's ,i am really glad you shared this information because i did not know about it..I will check it out for sure..Thank you!

LOL. No I never shop at Macy's and was unaware that they had a floor just for markdowns. I have never liked their store much. My ex's girlfriend works there and so I have a personal vendetta against the store. Besides I work for the competitor Dillards. Smile.

yes couldnt agree with you more i only buy stuff that is on sale and i think that will save me much money
