Do you like the rain?

Normally I have always loved the rain, big storms are the best, sit on my front porch and watch the lightning, the sound of rain is so soothing.
For the last 6 months I have had many leaks in the roof at my shop, so anytime bad weather hit, especially rain all I could do was worry that it was getting the massage room and I wouldnt be able to work, or what mess from drenched and dropped ceiling tiles was I going to have to clean up.
Well I'm getting a new roof today, and I'm a happy camper so once again I can love the rain. wohoooo

In a hot and humid tropical country like Singapore, rain is always welcome! It provides much needed relief and respite from the sweltering heat, but of course, it tends to rain a bit too much during the moonsoon season making it more than a little inconvenient for travel and such.

Hot and humid doesnt bother me, its cold rain that I don't care for. Being in Singapore would be much hard at monsoon season, and I can understand how travel would be hard :)

I like the rain but I don't like the bad storms that can sometimes come with the rain. I like the nice gently rains I don't like the downpours that make driving hard.
We used to live in a house that the ceiling leaked it was fixed about 4 different times and every time it would leak again!

You know what I'm talking about, the leaks at my shop were distroying my building and I would hate it when the rain, or storms were here, but now its getting fixed so I can enjoy again, yeah
As long as I dont hear the tornado sirens, i'm good w/ the storms

why thank you so much terry, I am happy, my brother is doing it so its guarenteed for well his life, lol.
My kids used to not like the thunder, I told them it was god bowling, so when a big one hits I'll hear one of em say hay he got a strike.
I'm like you that I like it to go to bed by rain too, I sleep like a baby in the rain, when the kids were younger the only reason I would wake was one crawled in w/ me.

I like listening the rain . And I also like the smell , the weather after raining . All things around look fresher after the rain .
