Did I overreact or was I right?

Hi frnds....M a bit confused out here...today I had a bit of quarrel with my boyfrnd...wat happened is,I have been taking lift from a colleague's husband from the office to near my home...my colleague obviously will be there in the car with us...she will be calling her husband to pick her up from the office sometimes, so she will give me also lift wen ever he comes...I didnt tell this to my bf each n everytime I went, though I told him once or twice before...today jokingly I told him that I took lift more than 20 times...then he asked me y I didnt tell him everytime b4..wen I asked him y I should ,he said "if one of my frnd sees u ,n asks me later,I should be in a position to explain him"...this is wat he said n wen I started quarreling ,he said he just gave an example n started giving other reasons...I really got angry...I dont find it necessary to tell him each n everything all the time...n he says he wants to know every detail happening in my life for his information....
do u think I was right being angry with him or he is right in demanding all the info happening in my life...

So, the wife is in the car. What exactly is the problem?
Why would he have to explain anything to his friends f you are in the car with a few people?
I would not bother getting all upset over this. He seems to want to control your life, which isn't healthy for you or him/

Even I didnt understand y he said like that...but since this has happened b4 also , dats y m upset...thanks for response......

It seems weird that he wants to know stuff like that (EVERY time). He might just be insecure, but it's innocent and why would he know EVERYTHING you do in a day? I do so much stuff that my boyfriend doesn't know 1/2 of it. All that matters is that we're together at night and don't do anything sketchy when we're not together. Well, I better get back to work, but I think he needs to get a grip and realize that unless you're the most boring person ever, he won't know everything you do during the day.

I dont know wat he is insecured about ....we love each other a lot but this topic has been coming up frequently...M just fed up...just dont know how to react to this..anyway thanks 4 response....
