How can i create a website / myLot

I would like to have a website of my own. I have a design with me almost done. But I don't know how could I launch the website on internet. Can any body explain me the steps regarding that? What should i do to launch my website. Should i pay for it to anybody.

Actually, you have to pay some money to buy a domain name. After you get the domain name you have to decide where should you host your website - there has to be a server to host a web page, you can do this on your own machine if you have a public IP or, you can buy hosting services from the internet. After you decide upon the hosting - you just upload the site (the host must support the technologies you used to create the site) and you keep it running. Good luck with it !

If your internet service provider allows you FTP space, you can upload the site to there. Then you can buy a domain name as cheap as 3 or 4 dollars and just mask it over your ftp space link.
