How do you change rank's in an interest ?

Ive never noticed this before but when you write a responce, it say's you are ranked %^%& from $%&^*& in what ever cetergory you have written in. How do you become number 1 ranked ? Is it based on the amount of post's within that subject or is it from the "+" & "-" feedback's.

Hello mark17779, It is because of both, in fact. The more number of posts you have that are positively rated, the more is your rank (lesser number) in a specific interest. But, more important thing is the rating, not the number of posts. Even more important is what members are rating you positive and who are rating you negatively. According to mylot, some members are more trusted with ratings and some are less. So, the best way is to start a discussion in certain interest category, have number of inputs, comment back to give others a chance to rate you positively multiple times, and if good trusted members rate you positively, your rank will improve very fast. To be ranked number 1 requires a lot of input in that interest field and more important is to get rated positively on all inputs, if possible, which of course is not in your control! I wish you best of luck anyway!:-)

Rankings don't matter to me. I've watched my deal drop due to trolls...I just like being here :)

It's not really a big deal for me either, but would be nice to be ranked in the top 10 of a very popular interest to reflect your hard work and that myloter's value your thought's in that area.
