Nail salons! What's that smell?!!?!?!?

I couldn't find a pic of someone's nails being painted so My Chemical Romance should suffice. I walked in to say "hey" to my wife while she was getting her little piggy painted and I about fell over from the toxic fumes. I was looking for a chair to pass out in, how do you women stand it? Should I puncture a can of Glade and throw it in the room? I about gagged.

Actually, I like the smell of the paint and much more the nail polish? there are kinds of paint that are strong and makes me faint.. hahah but I can still stand it. about the saloon where there are lots of different chemicals there, I hate the smell of the hair chemicals but the nail polish? it doesn't bother me. I like the smell of the nail polish.

Is it the actual nail polish or are there people getting "fake" nails? I use to have acrylic nails and the different chemicals they use for them smell far worse than nail polish. And, if I remember correctly nail polish has/had formaldehyde as an ingredient.

Weird huh? Who knew that would help paint stay on nails. But, I also know that one cannot get fungus and other nail issues when sharing nail polish. So there has to be some pretty icky chemicals in it.

I got here first! ROFLOL. Man, I can sympathize with that. Here is what you can do, but it is expensive. You can buy her a set of the new water-based nail polish products. They are odorless and also do not release toxic fumes into the air.

She was getting her nails done, its her reward, and I needed to get something from her purse and the smell was terrible. I held my breath for about a minute before I went outside and gagged. Yes, you got here first, BR to you!
