With the price of gas today, ours has reached $3.95 a gallon what kind of auto do you drive, with the price of gas going up every day do you plan on keeping it and just paying more and more, or do you plan on trading it in for something smaller? I have a Ford F-150 and for $20. I got a quarter of a tank, don't guess we will be going to many places. So what do you drive and how do yo cope with the high price of gas. A friend of mine said tonight she is going to have to get a second job to make money to buy gas to get to her regular job!

I drive a Mazda 323 and I always keep track of the mileage it gets.I filled up yesterday(here it is $5.60 a Canadian gallon) and it worked out to just under 35 miles to the gallon.I have already cut back on the amount of travelling I do and will continue to do so.I figure on planning my trips better in town and out of town.

Yes my daughter lives close and we go together now, and make one trip, we don't go unless it is really necessary.

Gas is around $3.60 here in Texas..We have a Mazda 2002 pickup, and we only get 20 miles to a gallon..Then we have an older model oldsmobile and it get about 23 miles per gallon..We really try to stay close to home now days..Several of the car dealerships are offering you $3,000 on your old car as a tradein on a new or used Honda or Toyota, here, and we are thinking of doing that. They have cars like this that are getting 35 -40 miles to a gallon...

I never had a car in my entire life, I never had the money to buy one. Now it is just as well because it is just way too expensive to drive one.
