well paracetamols are classified depending on their action and effect in our body.Nowadays the new brands of paracetamols are somehow just part of marketing but I guess they are just trying to improve its effect and action so it will be more effective in alleviating certain pain we feel in any areas of our body.Their difference depends on what generation they belong.I guess the higher the generation the greater is the effect.

Yes there are differences between different brands. Some may be fast acting and some slow. It depends on the ingredients i.e., the formula of each company. So it is not advisable to change the brands as you like , you have to consult a doctor before you change the brand. Because the additives used in one brand may suit you and others may not. So be careful whenever you change the brand.

Paracetamol is often contained in branded pain-relieving products and cough and cold remedies. These often contain a combination of paracetamol with other painkillers such as codeine and other ingredients such as caffeine or a decongestant. These extra ingredients can have their own side-effects. Some common medicines containing paracetamol: Brand names of paracetamol alone: Calpol, Medinol (liquid for children); Disprol (soluble); Panadol Brand names of paracetamol in combinatin with other ingredients: Anadin/Anadin Extra; Beechams products (including powder and capsules); Benylin Day and Night; Boots Cold & Flu Relief Tablets; Day Nurse; Feminax; Hedex; Lemsip; Migraleve; Night Nurse; Paracodol; Paramol; Propain; Resolve; Sinutab; Solpadeine; Veganin; Vicks Medinite

Paracetamol is an over-the-counter medication. In many countries it is granted for green label because of its safety. No wonder there will be many paracetamol brand. Basically, they're all the same. The difference between them are only their price, their solubility, their onset of action, their absorption rate, and their duration of action. They're different because they might have different special composition to make the tablets.
