Has anyone dated a girl older than them?

I'm thinking of asking a girl out. She is 7 years older than i am. D'you think this is a good idea? What are the possible problems that i could face? Has anyone done something similar. Was your relationship successful? D' you think age matters when it comes to relationships? I'm freaking out..please help!!!!

If you want to ask the girl out, then do so. There is no reason why the fact she is 7 years older should be an obstacle, you might find that she prefers younger guys. Age should not be a barrier.

I am a woman who is 5 years older than her husband, I would say that the possible problems that you could have, speaking from my own experiences, is that women tend to be much more maturer than men in a lot of ways, and so that could be a pain at times. I have this issue with my hubby sometimes, I feel that he can be a little immature, but it is not really a problem, just a pain. Other than that, there have been no problems with the age gap at all, 7 years really is not that big a deal, I have been with my hubby nearly 9 years now.
