Cleaning products we use in our homes....

With food prices so high these days there is less money to be spent on household cleaning supplies. What cleaning products do you use to clean your home? (bathroom, kitchen, living room, dining room, bedroom) Where do you purchase them and how much to they cost? Do you ever make your own cleaning products? How? Are the products you use effective or do you wish you could find something better to use? What products do you recommend?

I have a tight budget to stick to every week so I tend to go for the supermarket and buy the value range of cleaning goods. I go to Tesco's in England as it is value for money. I find the products ok to use abut sometimes you do have to put an extra bit of effort to clean but then that is more excrise and more calerioes lost. I have never tried to make my own cleaning products. I wouldn't mind making them or using things that the people in days gone by used before the world started making bleach etc

It seems like you are doing what you can now to save money and are open to being creative about what products you use... I am hoping people here will post more information about products they are using and also ways to clean naturally so you and all will get more knowledge of ways to clean and to save while cleaning. Thanks for your kind response.

I always have a very tight budget and tight schedule. I still have lots of products to use to clean. Now that I have very less food than normal. That will make it hard for me to stay healthy. Going without food is horrible. To me, I am always conscientious about overall stuff. Regarding cleanliness and safety.

I know that prices on everything has gone up, due to our economy being down. I have lots of products at home for cleaning purposes. I have dishwashing detergents, bleach, dishsoap, swiffer wet jet mop, oil soap for hardwood floor, endust to shine up wooden furniture and counters, broom and dustpan, and vacuum. I would recommend all these products to be in your home. I always keep my areas dusted and shined/polished up. I keep my apt disinfected. The best product I have right now is ionic breeze, which is a silent air purifier. I bought that from Sharper Image; via online. This machine silently purifies the air at my home. I must clean it thoroughly before two weeks from the previous cleaning is up. You can look that all up at www.sharperimage.com.
