Yesterday,I took a cab to my mother's place with my two kids. When I settle down to call my husband about my whereabout,I found that my phone was missing.I was very depressed when I could not find it anywhere at my mom house. So I called my no. and get my girl to message my phone to whoever that found it.My dad said to take it as a lesson learned and not to put the phone in my pocket again.I almost gave up on recovering my phone, when suddenly i recieve a call from the cab driver who say he found my phone and would bring it back to me.Imagine my relieved when I saw him with my phone.I thanks him for his kindness and gave him a small amount $ fot the trouble he go through to bring it back to me. Have you come across these feeling of distress and relief?

Hi! I has the same experience but I left in the tricycle. I went to a friends house throguh tricycle. I was with the friend at that time and when we started walking to her house I felt like soemthing is missing then I went in to chekc my pockets and my bag and found that I was missing my cellphone. It was not a high end phone but still it was worht somethng. I jsut kept calm but at the backof my head I was thinking my parents are going to bite my ear off from scolding. So I went back to the street thinking that he might not have gotten far. I was hpoing maybe he was still there but I knew he wastn becasue there was another passenger after us. I have another phone and I keep it at home. I went home and called my number. The driver answered! Thankfully, I asked him where he was and he asked me in a 'preachers sermon voice'. "Where are YOU?" Then he told me I left my cellphone and I got in contact with his wife. While he was doing his rounds, I kept contact with his wife where they live and they just told me to get it there. I finally got there and my friend was with me. We waited for the driver to finish his rounds at his house while his wife entertained us. They were nice people. Only thing left missing was the load the cellphone has. I had won that load in a raffle the day before that day. The driver played a prank on his wife by calling her with my number. I guess I can let that slip. I dont mind about the laod at all at least I ahve my phone back. The wife was even going to prepare snacks for us while we waited but we insisted that its ok. So we just talked until the driver came home and I got my phone. We said our thank yous and goodbyes and 'parental' advice. Then we left. We were planning to come back and give them a bag full of groceries for Christmas as a token but 3 typhoons hit our area in December so we hadnt been able to come back. I still really thankful to them and I wont forget them. After all having your phone returned to you by a stranger only comes a few times in life right?^_^

Yes, I do think it will be forever in our minds and in our memories. Its very common to lose phones and things and we can just replace it and forget about it but its quite a rare experience to get back the something we lost. We can never replace that specific experience even if we wanted to.

That was great that he brought the phone back to you. I hate when I lose things, because I normally don't get them back. I can imagine the relief you felt when he called, let alone when he showed up with the phone. Glad you got it back!

Hi. Its good to know that your celphone was returned to you by the honest taxi driver. Its nice to know that there are still honest and kind persons who are willing to return lost and found items. Well, in my case, I also thought that I lost my celphone. When I reach home to get the phone in my bag to send sms to my son, I noticed that my phone is not there. I was thinking how could it be lost, maybe it was taken from my bag when I pass by a department to buy something. I asked my other son to call my number and he said that its ringing but no one is answering. I had my thoughts on my celphone until i had fallen asleep. The following morning when I reported for work and came to the office, I noticed and saw my celphone on top of my table. I just left my phone in the office when I hurriedly left the office. So it was a relief that my phone is not actually lost.

You're very much lucky that the person who found your phone is honest. With todays lifestyle wherein almost half of the population were having trouble earning money its really hard to find a good one. But Im glad to know that there are still lot of person who make ways to be honest and help others in there own little way.
