Palitaw

when I was akid, my mother made palitaw for snack.It is from sticky rice which is formed into white oblong solid pieces that said to rise on top of the water on which it is boiled.When cooked it is dipped with sugar grated coconut and sesame seeds.It is very delicious.

palitaw - palitaw in batangas
Yeah i know that, the rice is also known as glutinous rice.There are so many version of palitaw. The one that you said is more known somewhere in bulacan, other version in batangas is putting some shredded cocunot (between buko at cocunot used to make oil.)

Absolutely, i was born in candaba pampanga, where are way was in boundary of nueva ecija near san miguel bulacan

Palitaw is one of my rice cake... I really like it especially when you bite it and chew it, its really sticky. I love the taste, simply the best.
