What is it with these guys? Have they gone out of their minds or something? Just the other day I was thinking about how I could contribute & today these guys kick the aid out? Any comments guys?

The junta government of Myanamar is not democratic, instead it is dictator or rather a terrorist government like the talibans, they don't think about their people.Thats why at first this isolationist regime had taken such a step, but at last they had allowed first UN relief plane to land,to provide their citizens with food and water. You can chek this news out.

You know sometimes I feel we should hang these guys upside down from a tree & leave them that way for the rest of their lives.

The military junta is probably one of the worst governments in the world and unfortunately it is also one of the longest surviving in the world. These guys have allowed Burma to become one of the world's largest producers of heroin and they have made it a point to persecute their people at every sign of their desire to want to get rid of the Junta. Remember it was only in November of 2007 when they appily gunned down the protestors (including Budhist Monks whom are considered sacred to the majority of the population) and it included a Japanese reporter - they didn't seem to unhappy about that or even apologetic even though Japan has been a major contributor to keeping the country in alive. So do you expect them to do anything that would benefit their people? Their behaviour is disgusting but its totally in character with what they have been doing for the last 3-4 decades.

well there is also talk that they are not really keen to get foreigners into the country. though how much is rumours i'm not sure. i was shocked too when i read reports that it was already 4 days then and they still hadn't received any aid. then i found out that it was the government doing that. their people are dying and they're worrying about other stuff which at that time i feel is trivial.

Which at any time is trivial!! These guys are crazy. Money is nothing compared to life & they don't seem to realize that.
