Hi, have you tried to lose weight?

Though hot summer comes, my appetite hasn't decreased a little. On the oppisite, it seems more strong when facing dilicious dishes. My god! How can I control my weight? My boyfriend begins to warn me now, if I still keeping increasing weight, he will break up our relationship. Oh, baby, how can 4 years' love be ruined by uncontrol weight? I have to lose weight!!! Do you have any good idea to lose weight? Please help me to save my love! Thank you in advance!

Wow he's going to brake up with you if you gain a few pounds. That's just dumb. But I've currently changed my lifestyle and have started to lose weight slowly. I've lost six pounds and proud of it. What i have done is that I have cut the amount of junk food that I eat and the amount of soda that I drink. I also eat in smaller portions at least five times a day and I exercise whenever I can. Good luck with this and your boyfriend needs to get slapped for saying that.

Wow, thank you for your generosity! I have reduce the frequency of eating junk food now. And luckily, I seldom drink soda. Maybe, doing exercise is the best way. hehe... My boyfriend seems a little bit excited at my action to control weight now.

Hi benbelgml!!! I'm fat like you too. Now, I'm carrying go on a diet too. I only eat vegetables and fruits. I eat meat a few. But rice I don't eat. The doctor advise me that I should eat more and more vegetables and fruits, limit eat rice. Because rice have the flour make body can become fatter.

hi benbenlgml are you serious ? i think your boyfriend might be joking about your question, i'm doing it too right now.. hahaa i'm on my best to lose some more pounds here i'm not a fat person, but i'm very concern with my weight i think i need to reduce two or three kilos more i got this idea to reduce weight around 7 years ago i think ? i skipped my dinner, eat more fruits, exercise at least twice a week my highest record is 98 kilos and after i practice my method, i lost 24 kilos .. 74 is my limit, i cannot reduce it more i know it took a long time, but i didn't have much time to exercise, so i choose skipping dinner and it works.. my weight is very stable right now after some years, i gain some pounds, hehee but that's still fine in your case, i think going to the gym is your best option ? some food combining will be great too try to have foods or vegetables with lots of fiber hope everything will work out for you benbenlgml .. thanks .. ^^

Skipping meals is never good weight loss advice. All that does is ruin your metabolism and give you low blood sugar. Your body will start feasting on its own muscle before it breaks into its fat stores, because the body always takes the path of least resistance, and muscle is an easier fuel store than fat. If anything, one should be eating more frequently; every 3-4 hours. But instead of eating large meals, eat smaller meals more frequently. This keeps the metabolism humming along happily. As long as one is eating healthily (lots of green vegetables, some fruits, some grains and lean meats) then the weight will come off. 2 pounds per week is the most anyone can lose in a healthy manner, so yes, these things do take time.

Yes, my boyfriend is half joking and half serious, I think. He cares my weight partly because of my health. I will combine your suggestions and take into practice immediately. When I success to lose 5 kilogram, please say congratuations to me! haha...

My ex-boyfriend was like that too. Though I was thin and curvy at the time, he said to me that, when I get older, if I get fat, he would finish with me. As soon as I heard that, I felt pity for him. That was not love and definitely not true love. And surely I don't want to waste anymore of my time with that kind of man. He does not deserve me so.....I left him a month after. Now I am older, I also find that losing weight is not easy at all. I myself have a problem with that. I do not eat that much, still have the same amount of food as before but I am fatter now as I get older.

Sorry you had a bf like that and im glad you knew they you deserved better . the right kind of man will love for you for you and support you . I know what you mean losing weight was so easy when younger and you could lose so fast . Now it takes me about one month just to lose 10 lbs . I just drink lots of water , walk , and love fruit .

Eating less and do more exercises,this is the best way to lose weight. I don't think there is any other useful and healthy ways. I never eat anything said to work in body and reduce fat coz that's bad for health. So never harm yourself to save your love. Just do more exercises and eat fruits and vegetables to keep healthy first and lose weight.

Here are a few tips: 1. Use a small plate, like a lunch plate, instead of a dinner-size plate. Your eyes will fool your brain into thinking there is more food. 2. Eat slowly. Put your fork down between bites and don't pick it up again until you have swallowed. Eating slowly gives your tummy time to tell your brain that it is full. 3. Sometimes when we feel hungry, we really are just dehydrated. Try drinking a glass of water to stop hunger pangs. 4. Get some regular exercise which increases your metabolism so you burn calories off faster. 5. Fill up on grains, fruits, and vegetables; eat smaller portions of meat. 6. Buy yourself a sexy bikini (or a lovely dress) that is the size you WANT to be and set a goal to be able fit into it!

Dear friend, There are many ways to decrease weith from deiting to doing excercise. If you very much to maintain love I hope only will power is needed any method can be adopted if one has that will power and dedication. Only thing I hope is which method to adopt the easy or the difficult and most effective one. I was 90ks once it was too much for me I reduced to 65kgs now only some excerciese like guilding, playing football, or some outdoor games. It also reduced my stress and weight too. Now I hope I would have to get some weith not fat.

Oh I can't believe your lover said that. He can't be serious, I hope. Anyway, I have been trying dieting to lose weight and for me, it works. As long as I follow it and be very disciplined about it. I usually never skip meals. For me, breakfast is very important. Skipping meals does not help you lose weight. Rather it only slows down your metabolism. And always try to exercise, sedentary lifestyle will always make u fat or gain pounds. I used to be a hundred pounds then when I lived in with my boyfriend, all we do is eat and eat so we both gained weight. I gained about 50 pounds! I was sad. When we realized we are getting bigger, we decided to go on a diet. Now we have lost and shed some pounds and I've felt healthier. Discipline is very important.

Me too! I've gained weight since last year. And my fiancee sometimes comments on my figure now especially when I'm wearing my old clothes which hardly fits now. I've tried loosing weight but I just can't say no to all the yummy foods that gets in my way. I do some exercises again but because of my daily schedule, it's hard to do it regularly. But as for advice, I suggest you play badminton. That's my favorite sport and whenever I have time, I play for about 2 hours.

Your boyfriend should be joking with you.How can your 4 years'love be ruined by uncontrol weight. He just want to motivate you to lose weight. But I also want to know the idea to lose weight as I have the same problem as you. Iam getting wieght day and day, and eat a lot of things every day. So I am very fat now. I want to lose weight as well. God helps me that I can control my appetite.

hi, benbelgml. i faced the weight issue like you too. and i never able to lose weight since 6 years ago. and now i'm very very fat and ugly. for me, if a guy dump you just because of your weight, he doesn't deserve your love. Because he only love you for your outward appearance not your inner self. i heard few suggestions on how to lose weight and they highly recommended me to go gym always, walk at least 30 minutes per day, eat less and cut down on salt, sugar, oil intake daily. Hope this will help you though i never success in lose weight!

Well, for a start, i'd say he doesn't really love you if he's willing to give it all up over you gaining weight (especially after so long) - that's also just shallow & maybe he doesn't mean it, maybe he is just using it to get you to make sure you don't get HUGE. I dunno why you'd be feeling like you want to eat more even though the weather is heating up. Here are a couple of thoughts for you though :- Make yourself some nice fruit pops/ice blocks, frozen yoghurt or anything like that - it's healthy & tasty. Instead of 3 meals a day, have 6 small ones along the day - they recommend people do it that way. I'm not sure why but its the 1 thing i have learnt from watching all those 'Biggest Loser' shows & it seems to work for them! Make sure you have a decent supply of Fresh Fruit in the house, not too many grapes, bananas etc though - they're VERY full of sugar but other fruits are good. Watermelon, oranges, strawberries - stone fruits! Keep wholemeal (brown) bread in the house & plenty of salads - then you can have a tasty salad sandwich & you'll know it will fill you up without being bad for you! Just try not to add in too much salt, too much sauce (they're bad for you sometimes) & low fat cheese maybe :) I hope that's of some help - if you insist on eating more, then make sure it's all healthy stuff & try walking the excess off in the evenings when it has cooled down a bit & you can go for a walk without passing out due to heat! of course. nearly every girl has tried to lose weight, most of them have tried more than once. i used to be a bit fat, now my weight has reduced from 50kg to 44kg, after i am in love. love has the magic to make girl become more beautifu and slimer

Yes, I am trying and I will continue to reach my goal. Since last month, I weighed 174lbs. Now I am 168lbs. I wish it was more, but I understand that it is going to take some time losing weight. If I can lose 6lbs in a month, I wonder how much more I can lose during the entire summer!

If you want to lose weight ,give you advise that lower suger ,lower the food and doing the regular excise.
