Awhile back I had a discussion on what to do with old jars from candles. I use one for storing jelly Beans in. Now I shop Sams Club so I buy in bulk. They have their own brands of foods called Members Mark and their jelly Beans are great. 41 flavors in the bag. Blueberry, banana, Cocolate, bubble gum, strawberry daquiri, roasted marshmallow, just to mention a few flavors. This bag is 4 pounds of Jelly Beans. A lot right? Well it only fills my candle jar twice so it isn't really all that big. Especially seeing as it usually lasts me a month or 5 weeks is all. Even though Easter is long gone do you like jelly beans all year round? Do you have any in the house right now?

No No No Oreo. I get them as I gave them to her originally. The only ones I don't like in the flavors is the pink grapefruit.

I do have jelly beans in our candy drawer. Our granddaughters love the candy drawer and go right to it when they come over. I do like your idea of having them in old candle jars, with all the different colors, it would look really nice and I have plenty of jars.

My grandsons don't seem to really like jelly beans.
But they will seek out the freezies and cookies and
PopTarts and cereal.

I do not but wish that I did.. I love Jelly beans but REALLY love the licorice ones, the black ones, but they are hard to find.. I am going to clean out some of my jars, I really thought about using them to make more candles, but the jelly bean idea is a good one.. I have room on my desk for a jar of Jelly beans..
have a great day, Donna

I also use old cookie tins for jelly beans etc. I love them. In fact the bag is sitting right beside me on the desk. Yummy! I can see all the black jelly beans waiting for me to eat them all up. HAHAHA! I love the licorice ones also. I love black licorice period.

I am not really a candy eater, chocolate and pastry eater yes but not a candy eater. It is very rare that I would eat a candy and so for me those jelly beans could last two years.

I love jelly beans but hate the cheap ones that have little taste. My faves are jelly belly brand and any of the other brand name ones like Smuckers, Jolly Rancher, etc. that are filled with flavor! I don't have any right now in the house and don't really buy them that often as if they're around I eat them nonstop!

I am gonna have to make a trip to Sam's Club now. I love jelly beans and especially the weird flavors like popcorn and peanut butter. I don't care much for the licorice though. I use to buy a bag when things were slow at the optometrist office I worked at. I would give my boss all the licorice ones cause they were his favorite and I would eat the rest, lol.

It's been a while since I've eaten jelly beans. I still can't believe I forgot to buy at least a bag this past Easter for our daughter's basket. My faves are the red and black ones.

I like jelly beans. Actually, I like them quite a lot. But for some reason, I tend to only have them around Easter. Funny, but I have never given it much thought before now. I have so many of them at Easter that it lasts me for most of the year. I tend to prefer the ones that are fruit flavored.

Jelly beans are awesome GPBob. I like the new starburst ones too, they have a tangy taste, but are not too sour, just right. I bought extra at Easter so I could munch on them when I am on the net, still have 1 bag left. I shop at Sam's so will look next time I am in there for them, since you recommend them so highly. Thanks for the taste tease.

Are you kidding? My son has my sweet tooth, I can't keep any candy here..
And I just got back from my neighbors house who somehow the whole family isn't much into candy, so when my son goes over there, it is a candy land for him..
If I could, I would have a variety of different candies, including jelly beans, (my daughters favorite), but as long as my son can't control himself, I can't do that..I tried again the other day and had put some skittles in this small candy dish, they were gone in no time..

I love jelly beans, but they can easily get too sweet. So I treat myself every now and then. I am a member of the Jelly Belly, Jelly Bean club. They have this thing called Jelly Flops. These are the jelly beans that did not turn out absolutely perfect.
They may be mishapen, or stuck together with anoth jelly bean, but nothing that would compromise taste. Anyway, ever so often they will sell these very cheap. Like two five pounds bags for eight dollars. I have not purchased any yet. But I have come pretty close. I have a never ending sweet tooth, so I limit the amount of sugar that I keep around.

I don't normally eat jelly beans all year, but I did buy some 2 weeks ago when I was at the mall. I bought the bulk Jelly Belly's where you can pick you own flavors out. I really like the juicy pear ones. Have you had the jalapeno flavored ones yet? I thought about getting some of them, but I wussed out.
