Ground Level View

I love toying with my digital camera etc and getting different shots. I was outside doing some gardning etc and grabbed my camera to take a bunch of photos. I experimented with a shot along these lines till I got thre one that I really liked. It's not a professional shot but one that I think is cool looking. One never really looks at their flowers etc from the ground level view and that's what i wanted to capture in this shot. Like I said, nothing fancy just a little playing around as I was bored. I love the small piece of cement sitting in the left center of the photo as well. Thanks all.

..in the words of Eric Clapton.. "I'm tore down, almost level with the ground.." - Well I guess you were level with the ground! When I was a kid I used to imagine if I was extremely tiny (must of watched the incredible shrinking man, or was it woman? or something) then I'd imagine the what it would be like to enter a small hollow in a tree.. or towering flowers.. and what it would all look like..

Nice shot, I like it. Did you use the tripod for this? Reminds me of the movie "Honey I shrunk the kids" LOL.

Yes I used the tripod. I set the camera on the ground and the legs of the tripod aimed for the clouds.

Great shot, the tripod really is needed for good digital shots, sometimes it is so hard to keep that camera completely still. I need to get a tripod.

That is a great photo! You did a great job at getting that shot at that angle. The photo you took is an inspiration for me. It makes me want to take my camera out and get some photos as well. Thanks for sharing this with us!

Hi GRANDPA BOB! Wow, you really got down and dirty (probably) taking that shot, huh?! However, it's worth it. It is a cool shot indeed! Did you see Thumbelina sneaking behind one of the plants? haha..Just my thoughts. Take care and have a nice day!
