A shop assistant was almost crushed by a lump of frozen urine which fell 10,000m (33,000ft) from a plane and landed at her feet.
Joanne Bojas was walking to work when the 20kg (44lb) lump of frozen toilet waste fell from the sky.
The shocked 25 year old said 'Its unbelievable; if it had me on the head I would have been killed'
Can you imagine the shock if this fell in front of you on your way to work or while shopping!!!

When I first read your headline I was sure you must have made a typo...low flying wheel or weed or some other word that didn't make any more sense than "low flying wee"...
That's just shocking...and disgusting. I'm trying picture the size of a 44 pound chunk of urine. I know how big a 5 pound block of ice is...is urine heavier or lighter than water I wonder? I'm guessing heavier but probably not by much.
I love mylot. When I sat down here today I never imagined I'd wind up contemplating the weight of frozen pee.

Someelse thought I had made a typo but they thought I was on about the game Wii!! lol
It is disgusting and i wouldnt like to imagine what it would look like. I didnt realise they froze the wee!! Not sure whether water or urine weighs heavier. they never let us test that in science!!
I didnt think I would start a discussion about frozen pee.

I don't think the plane freezes it. I think they just drain it out and it freezes in the cold temperatures of the higher atmosphere...ugh, too much science class for one day LOL!

Never really thought it was that scientific!! I think it could be to do with the air pressure or something. thanks for helping to clear that up.
ohh i hear the bell, end of class lol

It is only supposed to be dropped in certain areas from certain heights - at a certain altitude it is meant to defrost and evaporate before it lands but like most other things mistakes happen! It does make you shudder though imagine being killed by a falling block of pee! xxx

Im surprised they are allowed to just drop it anywhere, can they not have a landing zone or wait until they are on the ground and then unload it!! Can you imagine if it landed on your house, in your garden or maybe at school/nursery!!

I have heard of things like this happening before, it is crazy, what on earth are they doing dropping it just like that!! She really is lucky, and it must have been a terrible shock, I would probably have just passed out!!
