how do you pick your post or responses

I haven't been to that link in a long time and thanks for the reminder. I am going to go check it out again since maybe there are some new members that live in my area. I also have moved to another province so I should look for some members that live here. I am going to look, so again, thanks for the reminder. I would like to chat with people that live in the same city as me. That way we have some things in common to discuss, for example, I started a discussion about the Calgary Stampede here where I live in Calgary, and I never got one single response to it. So maybe if I had some friends here in Calgary, on mylot, then maybe I would have gotten some responses to it, since there would be people who know what I am talking about.

It is hard to pick best responses because so many responses are good and I don't like to show favoritism. In reality, however, I suspect I tend to favor people who have given me BR's and/or been especially supportive in other ways. It is just human nature. I have not tried to find other people in my area. I enjoy "meeting" people from far away places.

I just have my friends notifications in my inbox and I work from there, by the time I finish with that, the day is over and it is time to go to bed.

i have never thought of this. thank you for giving me an idea. i think it will be great to see people who use mylot and share stories. i will try to make connection and contact with other mylotters here in my area. i hope they welcome me.

Yeah,You are abosultly right,I tried to find some one around me in my area,but unlucky,I did not find one yet.I am in Hefei Chinese city.I know mylotters may come from anywhwere from the the whole world.so in my friend list,there are many from other countries,but here we only speak one language,English,the world language.anyways we can understand each others well.lolz...take care&good luck~~ Peter
