"GOD IS NOT REAL!"... What a Bunch of Bolonga!

"GOD IS NOT REAL!" As many scientists try to prove... THE BIG BANG, EVOLUTION...prime examples... trying to prove God is not real, by mier science. They try to find solutions to "the BIG questions"... by reason, logic, and evidence. They CANNOT and WILL NOT find answers. Trying to prove God is not real is like questioning God, in my opinion. We are only human, we cannot prove whether he is real or not (I know he is). We should not get ourselves involved in that junk! Those who don't know will know. Those who dont believe will believe. When the time is right, "THOSE" people will know and believe the power of God. What do you think? Feel free to express your opinions! I WILL LISTEN! =]

Trying to prove God is not real is like questioning God, We should question everything...its how we learn, evolve, advance and so on...Whats wrong with questioning? We are only human, we cannot prove whether he is real or not Right, it CAN'T be proven EITHER WAY...so let individuals decide for themself whether or not they want to believe..Whta harm does it do you?? who don't know will know. Those who dont believe will believe. When the time is right, "THOSE" people will know and believe the power of God LMFAO sorry but you are sadly mistaken if you think that "those" ppl, which includes myself, can be bullied like that..I could care less if god were real, came down and sat and had tea with me..I STILL wouldnt convert..I'm devoted to MY path and would never turn my back on it FOR ANY REASON.. that being said I HONESTLY believe that its YOU PPL who are in for a HUGE suprise in the end

I know of no scientist that is trying to prove or disprove the existence of God. Knowledge of the Big Bang and the process of evolution are of major importance to our species. Keeping ourselves in ignorance because it may raise questions about our faith is dangerous.

When Dr. Walt Brown subjects his ideas to peer review and discovers the scientific method I may start to take him serious. His book, which you seem to have as your mane source of information does not even have a bibliography, It can not be taken seriously. I will not waste my time trying to refute nonsense. My belief or lack of belief in god is not an act of denial. I just do not need a set of old Jewish rules to govern my life.

'I know of no scientist that is trying to prove or disprove the existence of God.' Really? What about Dr. Walt Brown? I gave you a bunch of arguments to look at, such as the inability of amino acids to link together in the presence of oxygen without chemical barriers, the interdependency of DNA and its repair mechanisms (as well as proteins), etc; and you backed out of the debate. 'Keeping ourselves in ignorance because it may raise questions about our faith is dangerous.' I suspect your problem is not ignorance, but denial. Acknowledgment of a God means accountability. You suggest that you're against keeping oneself in ignorance, yet you scoff at every bit of evidence presented, saying it's just speculation (when your own sources really are speculation), then running away when someone asks you to substantiate your claims. You've contradicted yourself. I'm surprised you're still posting about God in spite of all this.

Hi xxgutsxx1, I really pity anyone who does not believe in God. How in the world can someone explain the creation of the entire universe with all its gallaxies, etc? Someone had to create it. It didn't just happen. That is foolish! Yes there is a God and I'm so glad that He is in my life! God is good...ALL the time and He has proven that fact in my life over and over again! Praise God! God bless you!

Oh dear... ""GOD IS NOT REAL!" As many scientists try to prove..." Explain how, when the concept of god lies outside of science? Science makes no comment on the supernatural. "THE BIG BANG, EVOLUTION...prime examples... trying to prove God is not real, by mier science." Neither of those things say a single thing about the existence of a god or gods. You're just plain making things up. "Trying to prove God is not real is like questioning God, in my opinion." Which, of course, is only potentially a problem if God exists AND if he doesn't like humans using their natural sense of curiosity to learn. "We are only human, we cannot prove whether he is real or not (I know he is)." LOL! Yes, obviously a human can't prove whether God is real or not. But good job following that up with a completely ignorant statement despite that truth. Don't you realize how stupid it is to say that you know something is true RIGHT AFTER STATING that it's impossible to prove one way or the other? You just admitted that what you "know" is nothing but a complete assumption! Good going. "We should not get ourselves involved in that junk!" If God exists and he doesn't want me to use the brain I have to its fullest, I welcome him to let me know. He hasn't yet. "Those who don't know will know." Even though it's impossible to prove, huh? Idiot. "When the time is right, "THOSE" people will know and believe the power of God. What do you think?" I think you're crowing the same "YOU'LL SEE! YOU'LL SEE!" childishness that religious fundamentalists have been spewing for centuries. I don't appreciate you threatening me on your god's behalf. Are you proud of worshipping a bully?

If a natural explanation for something exists, and we find it, that is no one's fault, and it says nothing about the existence of a god or gods. Don't shoot the messenger on this. Besides, how do you know that God exists and didn't simply use wind, a natural force, to part the sea (if indeed that ever actually happened--the event exists only in a story, after all)?

IM NOT MAKING IT UP!!!! Look on Discovery Channel or whatever scientific channel you like! I saw just last week, Scientists trying to prove when Mosses lifted the waters of the Red Sea (I think, lol) it was wind that did it! They used a diagram and used a reef blower to try to prove God had NOTHING to do with it! Think about that as a lie or so as you say, "I MADE UP!"

There is no God. If there was, reason, logic and evidence would support his existence.

'If there was, reason, logic and evidence would support his existence.' Actually, they do, especially cellular biology. Try this (see responses #3 and 4): http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/1504288.aspx If you can defeat the arguments here, you're tougher than Richard Dawkins. But I doubt it.

I agree with ImmigrationSolution. Fear of accountability leads to denial. Unfortunately, wishing away your Creator doesn't eliminate your Creator. The best you can do for yourself is to be compassionate toward others, and put forth at least some effort to do what is right, as opposed to what it easy. If you can do this, methinks you're in decent shape.

Thats where most people loose themselves. Listen to this "evidence." If you never existed the slightest signs would give you away. If you were a child that did not exist, leaving the lights on before going to bed will give you away, because no one else could of done it, right? If God is not real, the creation of the universe is not evidence? The way he waters the animals with his holy rain is not fact? The way he feeds us in the mornings, afternoons, and at night is not logic? We have to think deeper as people. We often misjudge things, and who are we to judge? Who are we to quetion God's almighty authority? Thats pitiful. Think about what I said. =]

God is real, and many other things is real because we know what we know and believe in what we believe. There is no point in saying something isn't real if no one haven't disproved it first by "TRYING" to prove it. Everything is real, as long as we haven't disproved it yet....

You're basically saying that belief creates truth. That's nonsense. Everything is real, as long as we haven't disproved it yet?! Are you serious? So, you believe in invisible unicorns? Whether we prove something or not doesn't DECIDE if something's real. It's the other way around!

I'm inclined to agree with you. But I still love learning the science! I did a brief summary of some of the stuff I learned when I researched and studied some of the science involved. It was very surprising! www.inner-monastery.com/evolution.html and I still love this stuff.. if there's a dvd I can watch or buy, I will do it.. And I bought a 1950's book on the subject, I'm reading now, which is also fascinating.. As a matter of fact, I think I'll take it outside and do some reading in it, as it's a beautiful day out there.. - I think debating the subject is rather fruitless, but I do get tired of everyone thinking science has somehow or other disproven God! I don't know where anybody ever got that idea!! But am always so surprised at how widespread it is!! your friend, flower..

..they're not logical! If they interpret info and data to fit their theory.. well, that's not science! It's a faith! Most of evolution theory (as to origins, that is) is nothing but imagination..

I've always believed in God. I know in my heart that He is real, and that He is still watching over all of us, including those who don't believe. I'd hate to be one of those that don't believe when it comes time to meet our Maker. I almost feel sorry for those who claim to not believe in God, but if you think about it, in a way they do believe. I mean, in order to NOT believe in something, some part of you has to believe. God talks to us in different ways every day. He's that gentle breeze that cools you in the summer, and the rains that drench the dry ground. I honestly believe that He is around us every day, and He'll be here until it's time for all of us to go home to glory.

God is way too big to be put in a test tube. No one will ever be able to prove he is real or not by science. He doesn't want us to, he will never let man prove his existence, or there will no longer be free will and he's the boss.

what is real, during French Revolution the Athiests want to take over everything and want to destroy. They said we will destroy the name of God even. Then they came to some farmers and informed the same. They are palin and sincere people when they heard thus some people chuckled, then the authorities, asked them, why are you laughing. They replied, we are just wondering who you can bring down those stars in the heaven and destroy great effort

There are things that scientist can not explain and God is one of them. Still the hate to admit that there is something that they can not find a scientific reason of who, what, when, where and how.

There are so many things that science can not explain and they know it. They want to say that God is real cause they can't explain where HE or She comes from and how the earth and other planets were made. That is just like science tries to get people to believe that we came from a monkey and evolved into a man. The Bible says nothing about monkey then man. It starts out with man and they can't explain that.

I believe in God, I strongly do. God has answered prayers for me and many a time things have happend that prove God is real. I don't know why others wonder. I admit I used to wonder, but now I KNOW he/she is real. God is very much there. So maybe there are things on this Earth and in the Universe that are simply unknown or things that happen that are to amazing to believe, but they happen. I've seen ghosts, I've seen Angels, I've seen a lot of strange things and I have seen God answer prayers. Some think God is going to come down here and tell them how he does things. God is not like that. God answers things in signs, in things that happen. He is REAL. I know it and I feel it. I talk to him, when I pray and believe me God replies in his own ways. I truly feel sorry for those that don't believe in God.

So, tell me through which process you determined that your prayers were answered by God, as opposed to some other god, or some other force. How did you rule out all of the other possibilities? Be specific.

Which process? Well, when I pray for something, it's usually answered depending on how bad I want or need it.

Hi guts! People wanted to prove that God is not real. Today man wanted to imitate the work of God, through science, man wanted to prolong one's life. The bible states Jesus and God the Father are one, and Jesus said "I am the life". We do experience how to live on this earth though our breath. If body will block itself though ailment and the heart & lungs will refuse to function no matter what science through medicine & instruments will do, the breath will stop and the ailing person' life stopped. If God is not real, so why man can't prolong his life by his own will? Man is helpless if it's not the will of the Supreme Creator.
