Going to the Beauty Shop

Do you go to the beauty shop every week and get your hair done, or do you do it at home? I can't afford to go to the beauty shop very often, usually when my hair is getting to bug me then I go get it cut off, or if there is something like a wedding or a dinner that is really special then I get to go. I would love to go every week like i see some women do. When you do go do you just get a wash and set, or color, or a cut?

I haven't been to the beauty shop since I was in the 7th grade. I cut my own hair as well as my families. I just have a problem spending that much $ for a hair cut that they almost always mess up.

i feel that it is waste spending on beauty. natural beauty is a good one and maintain it by proper diet

i wish that i could arrange some budget to go to beauty shop at least once in a week thats will be so much fun then. however, honestly i don't too much enjoy when i have some time in beauty shop cause they always needs lots of time to do any treatment for us which make me being so boring the mostly thing that i did on there is wash my hairs and doing some creambath and steam for my hairs

I never go to the beauty shop I just cannot afford it. I cut and dye my own hair and that is it. I wish I had the money to treat myself to hair cut at a salon once in a while, it would be heaven.

I am a hair dresser myself and i am way to picky to go to the beauty shop..I like doing my own hair,not because i am an operator but because i am picky..I will go to a friend that is also a operator to get my hair cut...

No,I don't. I usually go when I really have to and get a basic haircut. I might get something nicer for a special occasion but for every day I'm good. I've been to fancy salons where a haircut starts at $40 and haven't noticed any difference between them and 10 dollar place. I remember dying several strands blue back in the day and the looks I was getting on the streets lol That was not very encouraging:)
