Normaly next to where you buy the fake nails they sell this clear ailpolish that is called fast grow for nails or something like that i cannot remember the name exactly but just look next to where you buy the fake nails they sell it in kmart. They have a few varieties out for fast and strong nail grow stuff out. Good luck..

Thank you for your reply... I will look for that when i go again.. This is horrible I really didn't think using these would do that much damage to someone's nails.. I just learned they aren't worth my money or time anymore... Thank you so much.....

Yes i know what u mean if i buy fake nails they only last about 1/2 day as i'm either washing bottles or washing dishes so the only time i use fake nails if i'm going to a special occasion. as my nails dont grow fast either.

I used to have those acrylic nails too. I loved them because they rarely chipped and the color stays longer when compared to applying them directly on my nails, but when I finally decided to stop using them, I discovered, to my dismay, that my real nails had become very thin and soft. It was painful and I hated it. To be honest, I didn't do anything special about them. I just allowed time and nature to heal them. Now they are back to their normal, healthy selves, and I have never tried putting acrylic nails on them again. Maybe you can find another product that can accelerate the healing process, but if not, rest assured, if you can be patient, your nails will recover.

To be honest they hurt alot and I hate the fact they are so painful and not to mention they are all the way down to the skin and yes extreamly thin when I touch the tops of them they hurt.. Yesterday I went ahead and bought some Sally Hansen miracle cure for server problem nails I am going to try that it says 50% stronger nails in 3 days rather it's 3 days or a week I don't care as long as I get them back and they stop hurting I'm ok with that... My nails just don't grow fast enough that's the one problem I've always had and they chipped and broke alot before I even started using the fake nails... I just wish i never would of start using them if I knew this is what was going to happen... Thank you so much for your reply!

Oh my, bad you. No more fake nails for you. Those are horrible if you want to grow your nails longer naturally. I would look for a brush on nail stregthener/enhancer. My partner has lovely nails and she uses that. She also takes a supplement that's for hair, skin and nails. That also works well. I've used that and saw a definite difference. If I were you too, I'd see if I could incorperate more zinc into your diet. Zinc helps with strength of your nails. If all else fails go for prenatel vitamins. I know those are for pregnant women but it'll help your nails.

I have used hard as nails which is a polish and natural growth activator for nails like I said they don't work very well.. Zinc is a good thing I know I don't nearly as much for those.. I do remember when I was pregnant I had nice health nails than afterwards they didn't look so good... Thanks for the advice I will try what you suggested!!!

ok so first off it should not hurt to get nails put on. it all depends on the nail tech and the products they use. drills should not should not be used on your natural nail at all. if you were one of those clients who have had a drill used on them it could have ruined your nails completely. you need to get a nail strengthner its a clear polish and you could apply it every day, then your nails will not break as easy. you could also start taking a multi vitamin which will help them grow better and faster. also takin care of your nails regularly will show a big difference. most of my clients come to me about every 2 weeks ofr their manicures after they have worn acrylics. i definitly suggest to try all those things.
