Sorry for what I said in my first discussion today

I just started a discussion about an American who said really mean and dirty words to me.I said I don't have too much good feelings left about Americans because of him.I was wrong about that.Maybe I was just not lucky, and it's just by coincidence.Another American tried to do harm to me before. So that's why. Forgive me if I pissed off by him and said something inappropriate in my first discussion today.I didn't mean that to all Americans. It was just him who made me really upset by insulting not only me but also my people. We have many nice Americans here at myLot,right? I guess sometimes it's just the culture difference.Sometimes it's not easy for me to accept Americans being too open-minded.Such as,someone said"talk dirty to me" in our first online chatting.I really don't like that,I just ignore him and don't talk to him anymore.

It is really alright gxnfly, to feel frustration. you were treated badly, we all have been there a few times. Nothing to forgive you for you were venting and sharing your frustration. yes there are many many good people here in mylot, not just Americans but people from every walk of life. Relax you are among friends.

I'm sorry you had such a bad experience! I am an American and I like to think I'm pretty nice...hehe. I think that there are some mean people from everywhere, but also some nice people from everywhere. I'm sure everyone understands that you were just frustrated and that was what made you say things like that. If someone was mean to you, then it makes sense that you would be upset and say something that you might not mean. I think I would have probably felt the same way in your situation. I think you're right, the best thing to do is just ignore those people. I hope that you are feeling better!

To be honest I would too just ignore any kind of response like that to me it is rude and unthoughtful of someone to say things like that-also I don't think that mylot would like it either-littleowl

It's nothing personal.. If you think about it, you were just being ignorant yourself by saying what you did. Everyone makes mistakes though, but I'm sure most Americans are used to hearing what you said.

it is OK gxnfly... that happens to every people and i can understand your frustruation... we tend to make prejudice on certain people, ethnics or religions when we had been hurt by them in the past... so i can't blame you for that... but all i can tell you is not to be too narrow minded and make judgement easily because you are the one who will lose... anyway, i don't think the american people here at mylot will take it personally to what you had said in your earlier post about them... so you don't have to worry too much... take care and have a nice day...

There will always be ple whom we dislike, regardless of race and gender.. So it's definitely ok, as long as the other party dun insult your whole country's ple.. There's a freedom of speech but still there must be a limit somewhere..

gxnfly thats horrid and no wonder you had bad feelings about americans. thank goodness we are not all like that. I love the whole idea that we can talk to people from other counries and nationalities.we can learn from each other and grow from that ' knowledge too.I guess as Americans go we are pretty open minded but nobody should belittle someone from a different culture. we should be glad to make friends and to learn from each other. If someone on mylot insults you please let mylot know as thats against mylot rules. we are supposed to respect each other and gain some new friends.

It's okay and it's understandable to be mad about something someone did to you, but how would you like if I said all people from your country or whatever were a certain way? Everyone is different. It doesn't matter from where someone is born or lives, or what color their skin is, but it DOES matter how they treat you. It is not a characteristic of a nation to be rude, it's a characteristic of each INDIVIDUAL. This is stereotyping at its worst. I do understand though because we all get mad and sometimes jump to conclusions. It's okay to blow steam off and vent, but it's not okay to be racist. I'm sorry someone treated you badly, but please don't judge us all based on this one experience or these two experiences, because I am NOT that way!

It seems to me that someone should not get so upset by an honest mistake...unless they were dishonest themselves and were afraid of being caught. Either way, it seems that this man should find a different business to be in if he gets that upset. Perhaps one where he only has to rely on himself.
