when your friend is down, do you lift them back up to safety?

We've all had trials and tribulations with life in sometime or another. we have fallen, and needed that special help back up from a friend to get back on the right track. I like to think that our friends are our only source of helping us out with that magic touch that they have. Have you ever had to help out a friend? If so, what did you do for them? and how did it make you feel after you did it? Don't never be sorry for what you've done if it was right for your friend. They will always be great-ful of what you've done for them. I have helped out a few friends in the past, with like money, or whatever. I did felt good about it after i knew that they were needing food for their children in their house. they didn't have no food in their house at all at the time, and the hubby lost his job, and they didn't have no one else to help them. so, it make me feel good when i did give them the money. I gave them $50 and took them to the store to get their food as well. I'm always like that. I love to help people if i have the money, or if i can be of any help to them. What about you?

Hello there! I admire you for doing such an act of generosity. You will indeed be blessed with what you did and I hope that people will follow you and help out others as well. As for me, I do love helping others even if I'm not well off. There was this one time when a street child saw me eating a cheeseburger. He just stared at me for a long time with those poor eyes. When I saw him, I didn't hesitate and gave him my burger and bottle of water. The burger only had two small bites and the water wasn't even opened yet. So I gave it to him. And you know what he said? Translated in English: "Thank you big sister for this food. I would like to hug you but I am very dirty. I'm sorry" That really moved me so much... I will never forget that day.

The most recent thing that I have done is take a friend in my truck to haul some cabinets. He had sent me an email that his truck was broke down and he didn't know what he was going to do because he already had made arrangements. It was great just spending time together and he even put gas in my truck.

Yeah I do help my friends and it makes me feel good, but I am unwilling to help someone who is not willing to accept help. One of my friends was in a relationship that was not good for her and I told her that she is not loosing anything by getting out since it will probably making her happy. I also lent my boyfriend some money, because he had literally £5 and needed food for the week. I think I lent him about £15 for his dinner money so to speak.
