We always see about bad stuffs that are like going on around us... So we mostly forget just the simple kindness we give to each other... Like one time when I was in church, I met this really old lady on her wheelchair. Her daughter was away for a while and I was chatting with some friends when I notice that some kids where playing with the old lady's wheelchair, pushing it back and forth and she couldn't do anything because she couldn't talk much but I saw her face which was annoyed because of those meddling kids. So I told the kids to scram and leave the old woman and her wheelchair... Although I scared the kids a bit but I felt good afterwards. The old woman wasn't able to say thank you to me but her eyes and the way she smiled back at me told me that she was glad... Even though the act was so simple but it really made my day... Now it's your turn to tell your story...

We have neighbors who give us all kinds of groceries at random. This is a real blessing because sometimes we don't have much since I stopped working four years ago and we are both on small government pensions now. I love to perform random acts of kindness for people but I don't tend to store them in my memory, I guess out of a sense of being somewhat humble. I have been told by others that I am compassionate and kind and that I am appreciated, so I know my little contributions to others make a difference in their lives.

I was getting down from a bus and this lady was having trouble getting down and well, the doors are automated. I rushed over to press the button to allow the doors to stay open with all my 3 over kg worth of groceries. I offered my hand for support and even though I don't speak French and she was soft spoken, she said it was okay and thanked me. It felt nice helping someone... I remember helping a blind man cross the road in Kuala Lumpur and even though it doesn't sound like much, it made my day. I have other stories but over time, I seem to have forgotten the specifics. O'well...
