Stuck in traffic

My husband has to come to Nashville once a month for training. Sometimes we come with him just to help with boredom on the drive, since it takes 4 hours to get here from home.
On our way here last night we were pretty much stuck for an hour on Monteagle. We moved 3 miles in that time. I was hoping the whole time that it wasn't a wreck causing the problem, because I knew it would have had to be a bad one to back up traffic that far. Turns out it was an accident, but we believe it only involved one truck.
When we finally got moving we saw a burned front end of a semi truck on the left side of the road, and then a little farther up, the burning trailer where they had pulled it out of the way. I can only hope the driver was able to get out before it caught on fire.
I hate to see things like this. Sure, it was an inconvenience for us stuck in traffic, but it was so much more for the poor person in the truck!

Wow, that must've been so frustrating! I hope that person was ok. How scary! I was stuck in traffic for a couple hours last week during a road trip, but it was just because it was rush hour in Atlanta when I happened to be driving through there, so fortunately nobody was hurt or anything.

I hope the Guy was alright I hate being stuck in traffic, I get so impatient but what can you do. that is why when traveling I always make sure I get out there before the traffic comes, especially if I am planning to go somewhere. I never make plans doing rush hour, It is not wise. But sometimes I guess you can't help it. Have anice week-end!
