God could not be everywhere and therefore he made mothers.

Have you heard this before? I am told it comes from a Jewish Proverb but I'm not sure where it came from I just know it rings true Your thoughts?

I thinks so, I agree, but not only Mothers, God can be a father a brother or a sister a friend a neighbor. I think that proverbs describe or compare mother to God because of her unconditional love to her children. The best example of love of God is the love of a Mother.

Leave it to you, Raydene, to come up with yet another beautiful and profound saying. I'm not sure if I've ever heard that before or not, if I did I'd forgotten it, but it sure does ring true. We mothers also have eyes in the back of our heads and we can hear and see everything even when we're sleeping - or at least that's what our children should be taught to think! Annie

I have heard this before Mom but have never been sure where it came from! My kids tell me all the time that God made me to care for them as he knew I would be the best - that reduces me to tears everytime! xxxx

Hi raydene! I think that is true. I think God made mothers so that through them, He can hug and kiss our hurts away. And through them, God could show us how much He loves us. Take Care and Happy Mylotting!
