Start Saving! Please read below

I suggest you get familiar with microsoft Excel Spreadsheet and make your budget. Keep track of how much you spend and what you're spending it on. I've tried it and could believe what a difference it make. I cut down on so much and gained a lot of money that I deserve. You can too!.

Hi Brandon! I agree that this helps you save money, since you can see just how you are spending and where to cut back. My husband and I have a budget set up in Excel that shows us all the bills we need to pay and when for the next 6 months. It also figures in money for food and gas, and money that can go into our savings. We also use Excel to keep out check registry.

I wasn't aware of how much money was going out until I joined the military and we were pretty much told to get a budget made so my supervisor helped me set one up and now I'm living better lol.

Good for you! As a retired Marine Msgt, I ran into more than my share of young troops that didn't have a clue how to handle money and all of a sudden they got this guaranteed paycheck twice a month and went nuts. Yikes! I see bafb and going to take a stab - Barksdale?
