Con Artist????

Do you know anybody who deliberately tried to "con" you out of your money? If so, what type of method did they use to mislead you and could you recover your money?
I was almost conned on Friday, but fortunately I got a tip off and am still in shock but will deal with it in the next week. It makes me just so angry that people get away with this type of behaviour. I still need to source my information to be 100% sure, but all the signs are there.

It's happend to me in the past, and unfortunatly I fell for it. I was pretty nieve back when I was young. Now that I'm older and wiser, I don't let myself be fooled into things. I've learned to much to be fooled. Thank God you didn't fall for it. Some people think they can sucker someone into doing what they want. It's sad really.

Thanks for responding. I still need to digest all the information for myself, but the more I think about it, the more loads of pieces of the puzzle is falling into place and there is a lot of people who is going to be hurt....a couple of them very dear and close friends. It is sooooo sad
