Parents kill their pregnant daughter!

I was shocked when I saw this on the News today. Parents killed their own pregnant daughter because she eloped! And to top it all they were very cool about it and the mother said that her daughter got what she deserved! And if that isnt enough, the whole village approves of this action and they are all confident that the law will be on their side. So far noone has been arrested!!
This is appalling and if this is allowed to happen then where will India go?

There are countries that have different belief system that you would not believe. I think that is why the so called founding fathers of this country left theirs and come here. Then you have to look at what they did to take the country from those that were here before them. So don't be surprised at some things that you read or here.

The problem is too many people are marrying their children off for money. They obviously don't care about how their children feel. They talk about honor and all this stuff, but where is the honor for their children, and in ensuring their safety and happiness.....
This world can be scary....

It is shocking, but perhaps it wouldn't be if we all learned about other cultures. There are so many countries where honor killing takes place.
