It really depends on how original and interesting the discussion is. I think the number of friends you have in mylot also matters.
It's difficult to judge whether a discussion is original or interesting or not. Sometimes when I feel a discussion of mine is interesting, the respond is lukewarm. Sometimes when I feel otherwise, the respond is hot.
I am still learning too.

Your right about that, I think the only discussion that I really got something back from what when I have reached a certain number in posting and then when I asked were everyone was from did pretty good. But most of the are below 10 comments. So I guess when the feeling hits me that is when I will create a discussion. Thanks for your input.

There are no perfect discussions to me ^_^ It all depends on which interest group u are targeting at and how clear and interesting u make your discussions for others to respond ^_^
If there are discussions with 0 responses, it means that the interest group is very small or that others simply dun understand what u are trying to say and thus it's left empty ^_^SO once there's a response to it, others will folow suit ^_^

YOu are right about that, I have started a few discussions that were not really clear and when answering back to the comment I had to clear up what I was trying to say. I know that if your not clear you will get a few ugly comments to your discussions. Thanks for your input I will put it to work next time.

most people say contraversial topics are a hit for responses, but I think we heard too much news around us that we prefer to read or listen something light and easy to relate to.. maybe topics that are commonly relative to people's personnal experiences in their lives, it's nice to share one's thoughts and feelings especially when you have no one to share to or too afraid and embarass to share to anyone, writing about it on the net makes you less anxious..

I have found it hard sometimes to pick a topic that a lot of people will respond too. What might be interesting to me sometimes might not be interesting to someone else. So it's every now and then that I start a discussion about something Thanks for you thoughts.
