With the internet us on the raise will you see net/web tv in the future

I think that had this out at one time but it didn't do all that good(Web tv) but now it would fit in just perfect with the techno rage that is going on with the internet. You have cable and satellite providing tv for the home. The internet does the same thing but on the pc and lab top. NOw what if the internet world wanted to change and make it so you can what tv from the internet just like cable and satellite? That would be something wouldn't it.
