For those who like referrals and downlines... Question for you!
Which methods do you use to get referrals for MyLot and your other programs? I have used a few of the programs such as GetRef and ProgramRefs, but I don;t think the referrals are of great quality. They are not really interested in or serious about the programs they join.
I like to make a website with all my programs and let those join who are sincerely interested. I usually use a small incentive such as:
If they join under me I will put their referral link in the site for awhile in hopes of getting them a couple referrals.
Do you like that idea? Do you use this technique yourself?
I promote my website wherever I can. I use a few traffic exchanges such as TrafficEra and such. I find this works best for me at getting quality referrals to MyLot and my PTRs.
(By the way, If you want to join a traffic exchange, I can recommend my two favorites to you in private message. )
Please let me know your best techniques to getting QUALITY referrals, as well as methods you've used that are not as successful...

i think making a website with all your programs is the way to go. i'm in the middle of putting 1 together now. it just seems a lot of people are doing this now, so you have to try to make it unique. also then you have to get people to go to it.

I had my own site in the past and it was very successful, got me literally dozens of active referrals for every program. I just got tired of maintaining it and lazy... But now I am doing it again. I just recently started up again and it's not as successful as last time, but I have not promoted it as much either. I am going to step it up a bit and see what kind of results I get. It's best to have exchanges where you join a program of someone and they join one of yours, then it tends to be a mutual effort and more money is earned. Best wishes!

Yeah, I forgot about that... That was another reason I gave up on my last one.
However, now I've been amember of some paying sites for a couple years at this point who have consistently paid me, so I am very confident these will remain strong.

Getref works for some ppl and doesnt for some. It just plain luck factor there.

I have mine on my e-zine but it is not working all that well, some people join but they never participate.

i am not so sure on how to make quality people jump in more than making it personal to them and making them understand what's in it for them.
also, as a newbie, i think the sign up process is really long. we need to set the expectation for them. these major dissatisfier.
as to maing them participate, make sure you help them try and post like 10 first and make them se their earnings. they will get the groove afterwards.

I am interested in referrals also and what I have done is ask people to trade, anybody wanting to do so can contact me.

I don't use any ploys for signups, I get plenty of those, But I do ask them to upgrade and if they do I will give them 5 of my personly sponcered recruits for them.

I use instant messenger to get referral.
However, this method is very time consuming and there is no guarantee that you will get quality referral.

Hi Bethany,
For making referrals and making a huge downlines you should have a good list of friends,that would do.Mail all those(lets say 10 at a time) and ask them to refer their friends too as they can also earn by simply referring others.Also if you are having some website that is having lot of hits post ur referall url somewhere there.
QUALITY purely here depends on Luck.If you luckt then you would get a good amount of powerful referrals.

So far, I haven't found any good programs for getting referrals. I have stopped focussing on getting referrals and started focusing on my postings. I feel better that way and I get more accomplished.

We can get referrals but we need to try them to involve in those process because getting referrals easy but when we explain the process to them it is difficult and some times they won't understand and some times they are not interested to join and some times they do half of the work so we can't tell exactly what happens with referrals.

I personally have only gotten quality referrals from my own household! My father and my sister joined MyLot, and both of them come back every once in a blue moon to respond and start their own discussions. They aren't completely active all the time though. I haven't found any really good quality referrals, even though I too do traffic exchange, have my own site, and promote on other sites as well.

I think what you are doing is a great idea and just to add to that I think posting your referral link in forums would help also. That's all I'm doing right now because I don't have a site up yet because of the whole "How to set that up and get a going" thing lol. Hope you lots of luck!
