How many grand parents are on mylot?

Congratulations grandma, what are you going to be called? I am a grandmother, and I am a nanny, that is what I called my grandmother. My only grandchild is 12 years old now.

Sunday,Congratutions to you. I know you are so very proud of your new granddaughter..Too bad she was not born on your birthdat, that really would have been wonderful!!I too am a grandmother. I have a grandson that is 5 years old, he was born 3 days after my birthday as well. I sure was hoping he would be born on my birthday. Then I have a granddaughter that is 10 years old, she is my heart!! She was born premature, only weighed 3 pounds 12 oz. You would not know it now.She is the most beautifl, sweetist careing inteligent young lady.We are very close, she is like a daughter to me. She is in the gifted & talented program in school, a cheerleader,girlscout and just signed with a modeling agency a few weeks ago. I am so very proud of her.There is nothing in this world to me that is any greater than being a grandparent.

I have three grandkids and they are the apple of my eye. They are by my only son. The first grandgirl was born in 1994. I had come home from work and everyone was gone. As I was standing there I picked up the phone and was told that my daughter-in-law had given birth to a baby girl. Well I got to tell you I hit the ceiling with joy. I now had my girl that I had always wanted and never got. Don't get me wrong I love my son very much but as things happened he was the only child I was able to bear. So I was extatic over having a grandgirl. The second grandkid was born in 1995 and brought as much joy as my first grandgirl brought to my heart. Than in 1997 there was another grandchild born and this time the child was a boy. I am blessed with three beautiful and wonderful grandchildren.
