Have You Ever Been To A Pawn Shop?

I have never bought or sold anything at a pawn shop. But where I live we have
pawn shops everywhere. I did go into two of them before with my daughter.They
have everything in there that you could want, just about.Jewelery,lawn mowers,
electronic equiptment.Have you ever been to a pawn shop?

it is unfortunate but yes i have been in a pawn, when my oldest brother got locked, but the one i went in to is different, they hold your stuff for about 4 months, after 4 months they charge you intrest, then if you dont pay them back you will loose your stuff. i didnt want to loose my things so i paid the amount that i had pawed it for and i think two months intrest and i was one my way....

Yes, you can get your stuff back, but I suppose a lot of people do not then they sell it. They have so much stuff in there.

yes they do i forgot to add that when i responded duh lol. a friend of mine brought a dell computer for her teen for $300.00 bucks, they have everything from jewelary to camcorders, i never realy brought anything from thier, but y friend is very happy with the computer she brought

I have been in a pawn shop befor. I like to go in there to get games for my daughters Xbox 360. You can find all kinds of things in there. I have pawned things before but I all ways get my stuff out.

busdriver,welcome to Mylot, i have heard alot of people say that you can get some really good deals in the pawn shops on games and other things. I have been in them too, and do see all the many things they do have to offer.I am glad you were able to take adavantade of what they have to offer there.Happy Mylotting to you my Friend.

I have been in one a few times. I have never sold anything at one or bought anything either. My husband bought some cd's at one once. I have heard you can get some really great deals at pawn shops. We don't have one in the town I live in though.

I suppose that these pawn shops are real good places when you are in a bind. And looks like you can get some good deals there too.

I have looked in the windows of a pawn shop before, but I have never been in one, and I have never had to use one. I have known a few people that have used them and then bought their jewellery back, and they live on it really well. They use them when they really need some money and so their jewellery is like an investment for them.

I too know of people that do the same thing, they will pawn their jewelry until they can get money to get it back out. Thus far I have not had to do this either, thank God for that.

I went with a friend of mine and a family friend of hers one time to pawn a keyboard I had for rent. You have to be careful with them as they try to swindle a deal to their liking.

I got a couple of used video game systems from pawn shops. The only ones that I will buy from are the places that have checked them out or are going to give me 30 days to test it out and make sure that it works. You would be surprised at some of the things that people pawn. They had a special on A&E about pawn shops in Vegas and how they had everything from glass eyes to prosthetic legs.

Yea you can find good deals in there.I've had to use them at times to get money too.But I haven't been in one in a long time.
