The time has come to pick up where I left off 4 days ago. I checked my email and I have a lot of picking up to do. Though my heart is still fractured after our loss of my mother, I felt that Mothers Day was the day I had no choice but to start on. Though I can no longer wish her a happy Mothers Day, except in spirit, I can honor her by starting to piece my own life back together again and though it will never be fully repaired with such a hole left in it, time and friends and family will mend the wounds as much as possible. Thanks you all who responded with words of kindness or prayers, or just well wishes. Again I say thanks.

It might not feel like it now, but time will help. I was thinking about you today, being Mothers Day. I think you will always honour your Mama just by being the person you are - the person she helped you to become.

I am sorry about your loss, please do accept my condolences, even if we are complete strangers. I am sure that your mother, where ever she is must have heaved a sigh of relief now that you are staring to put your life together after her passing! Chin up bud! All the best in life, for what ever the circumstances, still Life's Lovely! Love & Live Life!

Wow, Jer31558, your attitude is wonderful. I know way too many people who would be extremely bitter at this time, myself probably included. It is very good to know that people like you are out there and that you enjoy this site as much as you do. I am glad that it gives you some sense of comfort.

I try to keep a positive attitude, and in my opinion, bitterness only hurts the person that is holding onto it.

Hello bro, I am terribly sorry for your loss and I know that it sounds easier to say but the one carrying the burden is you. Again I feel sorry and words could not convey how it must have felt for you and your family. However, I still think that for Mother's Day, it is to reminisce all the nice memories that you have had with her and to celebrate it with your immediate family members. Take care always and have a nice day.

Well it is nice to see you back, and again I am so sorry for your loss. You have a good outlook on things though and sometimes that is the best way to be, because although the pain is unbearable when you lose someone you love, life has to go on and it makes it that much easier if we can go along with it.

This was a wonderful day to honor your Mother. You may not relize it now but she taught you things that you will pass down to our children and they in turn will pass to their children. To deal with loss without letting it destroy you is just one of those lessons.

Jer I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your mom. I know your heart stricken and are lost emtionally which is completely understandable. Your mom will always be w/ you at heart and will hear you if you want to say "I love you mom" I lost my mom back in 87 and I still talk to her everyday and I know she is close to me at heart. I'm sure you had alot of fond memories you had while she was here that you can still think about them. I hope you can find the comfort you need in the time of your loss. We are all here for you if you need to talk. Take care ((( hugs ))).
