How can I obtain more best response?

There is no magic trick to receiving a best response. Some people don't bother picking a best response at all, so it won't matter what you do! (I know I forget to do it sometimes myself - bad, bad Marie Anne!). I receive quite a few 'best response' myself, and I don't do anything special to try to get them. I'm just honest in what I post here, give opinions with a little bit of thought, etc. I don't normally respond to a discussion just for the sake of responding. Goals are nice, but don't get so wrapped up on trying to do something just to get a certain rating, etc. Post what you really feel, make it somewhat articulate and worth reading. The rest will fall into place.

I don't think there is any real set answer for this really. I go for weeks without receiving one and then suddenly will receive 3 or 4 on the same day. I personally don't think about best response when responding I just type as much as I possibly can regarding the topic with honesty and from the heart and if I can sometimes with humour. This will all come accross in your response and when the discussion owner re-reads they wilkl decide on how your response made them feel. Sometimes it is very difficult to give a best response as two or three are all as deserving of it, when this happens I go with my intial gut feeling of who should receive. Just try to be as descriptive and helpful as you can. I have received best responses before, but I don't reply to discussions in order to get a best response. I just try to help and add my opinions.

Getting the best response comes down to giving the best response to the discussion. Other than that it's up to the one starting the discussion. If they decide to give it to a friend it doesn't really matter what you write, does it.

In order to obtain a best response, first you should really post a very good response to the question. It should be very descriptive and must point at the situation asked in the topic. To get more best responses, you should look for the discussions which REALLY takes your interest SO MUCH. That means, only then you can write a very descriptive and informative response which can also help other people who wonder about the same topic. For example if you are an expert on something, or if you have a very special interest on anything,just look for the discussions about it and you will find many people looking for some useful information about that topic. Sharing your information with a descriptive language will definetely increase the count of your best responses. In fact, it is what I have experienced. When I had first joined here, to mylot, I just used to post simple responses and was not recieving best responses of course, additionally my earnings were not very good in those days. One day, I attended a very hot discussion and made very long responses and comments on the same discussion, I didN't recieve a best response (because it is so rare to find people who give best responses to the ones who disagree with them) but I made my maximum earnings up to that day. Then I found out that if you give very long and descriptive and informative responses you make more money here. This forced me to find the discussions which I could reply with lots of information. After finding the discussions which really take my interest, I just put in all my ideas and thoughts and I just get the result as better earnings. After started doing that, I realized that my count of best responses also increased. Since I guess from your post count, you have recently joined mylot I think you won't have any troubles about this situation if you take the stuff in that way. I have never tried to get a best response but I do get them quite often. I don't think there are any set rules but I can offer a few suggestions: 1. Post in discussions with no responses, members who started these discussions may be so pleased to get a single response they may want to give you an award. 2. Post in discussions asking for help, advice and information and be as helpful as you can. 3. Give best responses to your friends and some of them will do the same for you. You may not get more best responses but you will add more to your earnings!

Just be as helpful as you can and supply as much information also the longer you are here the easier it will be. I am amazed when I get best responses but then I don't think how do I get the best response here, I just reply. The best place to get a best response is when someone is asking for advice.
