Which is better Iron Man or Transformers ?

I have read a few remarks on the internet and also in papers saying that iron man is better than transformers. I took the liberty of watching the movie and disagree. Thou iron is good (especially in the acting) but its just that.
What say you lotters ?

yes i also recommend Transformers .
it is such a nice movie.
the story is about saving the earth.
the robot is so honest, kind and funny.
i like them.

Yes I agree Transformers plot is much more grand and world survival stuff than iron man. But they have to follow the plot in the comics, so Iron Man cant run much.

As an action movie with special effects Transformers was more pleasing to view.
Iron Man was okay, but I can almost guarantee the second one will be better, more action.

Yes exactly as I thought. If you consider the villain (Baldy Jeff Bridges) he is not really that bad than other villians we have seen on the silver screen.
What he did maybe trade arms with terrorist and kill one of two of them. So when he got himself into the robot, his terror was nothing to shout about. And i even wonder how the can "master" the suit by just one sitting unlike Tony Stark.

I haven't seen Iron Man yet. I have seen some previews for it and it doesn't look to me like it's going to be better. I can't really say though until I watch it.

Thanks for posting your first post i believe with my discussion. Hope you have a wonderful and exciting experience with Mylot.
I prefer Transformers as we know that its not a real movie so my mind can absorb the plot easily. As for Iron Man its hard to swallow what Tony Stark is able to do by himself in his garage when creating Iron Man.

Hey, I can't choose between those movies... I love both of them and I can't choose... sorry... but I should say that both are good movies in such different ways...

You know, Transformers had almost too much action and the sound was overwhelming? It was a VERY LUD movie and I feel it took a bit away form the story and was distracting.)
And there was a good story line..but it was more detailed and easy to enjoy, I feel, wiht Iron Man! I definitely enjoyed Iron Man more than Transformers.
