wearing a collar

how many of you that have indoor dogs, wear a collar???
I have three dogs. I let them out for a while every day. My oldest dog doesn't go anywhere except in the yard. She doesn't wear a collar. My 1 1/2 year old puppy likes to run everywhere. I keep an eye on her but if she gets loose who knows where she will go. So I keep a collar on her. My 6 month old puppy is too small to wear a collar.

Oh yes, my dog wears a collar. He is an indoor dog, and I walk him on a harness, but just in case I want a collar on him with tags showing who he belongs to if he ever gets out. He chewed off his last collar. I don't know how it happened. One day it was on, the next morning I got up and it was laying in the floor. I didn't want to get it too tight, but evidently it was not tight enough! It would just break my heart if I lost him. He is so cute someone might keep him anyway, even if they saw his tag, but I do my best to ensure he will always be with me.

My dog wears a collar every time we go outside, but not in the house. I walk him on a harness but I want the collar with the tags there just in case he'd slip out of the harness, cause once he gets loose he won't come back.

My dog wears a collar during the day, even though he is inside most of the time and we have a high-fenced yard. He's never shown a tendency to run away, but we just want to play it safe. We do take the collars off of both him and the cat (also and indoor pet, but has been known to make a dash for freedom from time to time
)at night, so the rattling tags don't wake us up, but they are wearing them the rest of the time.
Neither of them really seems to mind. I guess that we always put the collar on right before we feed them made it "okay" in their minds.
