I came to the conclusion that i simply hate the real world . I like it here in my virtual world, not because i can be whatever i want... i am the same...but because i find more understanding here. I went on a walk outside with my sister. You know ...in a park just to take some fresh air. After we had a soda we were walking back home and from the corner a gipsy smacks me in the face and starts laughing with his friends. If this is the world we live in then , sadly and bitter , i would rather not live in it. I couldn't go to the police because as always they will do nothing ....and no one around me did or say a thing. They just kept walking minding their own business . My head still hurts from the hit the gipsy gets away with it and the world moves on. Did things similar to this happened to you? What would you do ?

The virtual world is fun especially when you get involved with things like Mylott and Facebook where you can imagine you have all sorts of superpowers or command armies of Zombies and what nots. By comparison, the real world is a rather dull and boring place. However, having said all of that, we do live in the real world and have real world needs that need to be taken care of. Doing things like trying to make a living are what you would call the nasty part of being alive. Then again, why make such a distincition between the real and virtual world when both seem to be comming together and getting closer than you think. If you can maximise things like Mylot and other get paid sites, who knows you may be able to survive in the real world by making something out of the virtual world.

I had to check your profile to find out why you used the word 'gipsy'. I knew it was an expression not known in America. Well, we did have gypsies in Maine, but they only came once a year and it was the only time we had to lock our house up_ Sorry to go off-topic a bit. I wish I didn't agree with you. I wish I found the world sweet and refreshing. I like to go out and talk to people, I like to know what they're thinking about. No one wants to talk. Everyone is angry and hurried. I smile at everyone when I go out, unless it's some creepy looking person. People look at me and a small light goes on in the back of their eyes. They remember what it was like when people smiled. I never felt attached to this world and I never felt like I fit in. I'm different from most people I meet. The real world doesn't make sense to me. There's too many cars and houses and noise. I look around me and think_ 'This is all wrong! Hey, everyone, we got it wrong, we messed up, we have to fix it!' But no one else sees what I do. I've never been hit by I gipsy and I can't imagine anyone being so cruel to a sweet person, or to any person! You're the last person on Earth who should be hurt and the first person on Earth who should be protected. I'm sorry the world is ugly, but I agree with you. I don't like sitting by a computer all day, but I have friends in here. Maybe I can't see them, but at least I know they are safe from the bad guys. What would I do? The same as you. Stay happy in my virtual world and step out when I need to. And watch out for a gipsy who wants to hit me.

Thank you for understanding ! I also feel i do not belong here...maybe i was supposed to be born in this world but in another time. I hate the noise, i hate the traffic , i hate that nobody gives a fu** for the ones around him. I grew up in a small town and i really enjoyed it there. It was quiet and peaceful . I can't go back there cause it has changed and everywhere is the same.

Hello my friend. Please don't despair. Those kids have nothing better to do and they will get their just desserts. Just don't bother about them, and leave to God to deal with them one day. Right now, I want you to focus on your 'real' life outside and never to give up hope. Never, okay, my friend. Because life is full of richness that we need to look for. Though it is not a happy day today, tomorrow or the day after that, doesn't mean next week or next year, we won't be happy. Just don't give up, for this world is not meant for people who give up easily. I say put on a positive and cheerful mood, and just take on life and what it has to offer. I know that life ain't easy and it is definitely comfortable to be slipping into the virtual world where everyone plays nice. But even then, you see people fighting in chat-rooms and mylot even. So you see, my friend. There's nothing wrong with the world, or the real world, to be exact. It is just the people that we are surrounded with. So I say go far away from all these negative people and build your own positive life. Thanks and take care. :)-

Nothing like this has ever happened to me but, I can understand why you feel more comfortable in cyberspace. People are nicer here than outside...sometimes. Not all the time. There are still some people here who can be a bit fiesty, rude or mean. But, especially here on myLot, people feel close to one another here and treat each other like friends...and sometimes even better. We speak kindly to one another. We support one another. We uplift one another. It is too bad that you couldn't get the police to do something about that gypsy. We don't have gypsies here. Well, we have homeless but, not really gypsies.

so sorry this happened to you. why not call the police? that is so uncalled for. i agree with you about this crazy world we live in though. i am not much of a fan of it myself and prefer to stay in my own very limited little world. i do just fine as long as i stay within it.

Many times out there in the real world we have to deal with things of life, and realities we really have going on. Here on the Internet even if we are the same, we can escape and be a different individual not caring what people really think of us, but yet wanting to leave an influence on someone just the same. This is an interesting discussion to think about. Thanks for the input.
