Is it true that the use of perfumes badly affect our body? I heard that some perfumes may affect the hormone levels in human body and a little confused since I use perfumes always.

I never heard of any problems due to perfumes. But if you are concious of artificial stuff in perfumes you can use ones made out of natural stuff. I myself prefer the natural ones.

I'm allergic to a lot of them and some give me bad headaches!I think alot of times people overdo with them and dont think about others who may be allergic

Headaches are very common with perfumes. I have seen a lot of people who wear very strong perfumes and if you are in an elevator with them .............. I don't get it Only a pleasant scent would do it But people tend to over do it.

One area to watch for it that fragrances or perfumes can sometimes cause contact dermatitis or eczema. Here's a good link to a site that talks about fragrance and eczema. http://www.exederm.com/aboutirritants.html#fragrances

I can see the logic with this, after all perfume is a synthetic potion of chemicals of which is foreign to the body, so I'm not surprised that many are saying that prolonged use of perfume is not so good for health...
