I put my paypal account balance into this fund a week ago and its already made me over a dollar. Currently its at 5.03% which is better than a bank. Is there anyone else here that has done this as well

IS there anyway we can lose this money?? Is the money dependent on the stock market?? i.e if the value drops we cld lose the whole thing?? I'll be looking into it but since you already are into it i was wondering if you knew

Read their prospectus then decide. Yes it is possible to lose money with the fund just like any other investment you have.

I am not using the PayPal one, but I am using a high interest savings account through my finaces credit card company which has about the same amount of interest. I would not use it for a long term investment. There are better ways to invest your money.

I have an IRA account through work and currently Im using my paypal account as a way to save money for a new garage. That way its not easy to get to.

I've never heard of this... Is it something New, and worth considering, or just another SCAM tactic?

I looked at the fees on the prospectus. I don't understand all of the fees and expenses. So I think it's best if I don't invest.

I guess I haven't been paying enough attention to PayPal, but since I haven't had any money in it for awhile, that makes sense. Is there any fee for taking money back out of the money market fund? Or can you get it on demand just like from your regular account?

There is no fee. Its just like your regular paypal account you can withdraw it or purchase an item with it.

yes, same here. Does anyone have a link to that fund? And is it part of paypal or is it just a group of investors that use the name to become popular?

Well I just went and read the information they have on it, and I think that there are more risks than NON-Risks with this program at the current moment...Not saying that they cant turn it around and make better for all, but it highly unlikely that it will ever be approved by any commission..Plz READ all information before agreeing to sign up with them..

I keep money in PayPal because they do pay a very good return and have been doing it for years. It should be noted though that you money is invested in a money market mutual fund and you incur the investment risk - there is no Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) insurance for your account like you have when you put your money in a bank. However, I think the risk of losing the money with PayPal is very slight so I leave part of my funds with them.

I have some money offline. But I do not have a bank account. Can you have a paypal account without a credit card or a bank account?
